We love Messina’s! Every visit is always a positive experience. The shrimp scampi is delicious. They had a pretzel crusted fish as a special that a few from our group tried and it was amazing. It’s nice that they take reservations as well. We’ve gone with a large group many times and they have this nice little private room off to the side that we sit in. The tiramisu was super good as well. It’s a very nice atmosphere too. All of the food never disappoints. Friendly and attentive staff always!

Just a heads up to anyone who orders from Messina’s for carryout or delivery: Their website’s prices (2/14/26) are currently incorrect by several dollars per item with incorrect ingredients listed. For instance: fettucini alfredo is listed at 19.95, but they charge 22.95. Their $6 garden salad is listed with mushroom, carrots, cucumber, tomato, and onion. We received a small container with one tomato, 1 slice cucumber, with a handful of lettuce). We ordered 2 cannolis, the menu says 5.50 each, we were charged 8.00 each. My husband called the restaurant and they said too bad, those are the prices and their site hasnt been updated yet. He then said the menu says prices subject to change. It doesn’t say that either. We said you should honor the prices you have on your site, the gentleman said no. Just a heads up that this is how Messinas treats their community and longtime customers. We have been customers for many years and are so disappointed at how they treated us. Plan for increased prices if you order from there, with missing ingredients, and rude customer service.

I decided to stay in tonight and just wanted something different for dinner. We’ll messinas was not it. My Alfredo was loaded with butter and hardly no sauce. Sauce tastes like its from a can. My client got the lasagna and she said the soup was the best part. The serving size was ridiculous for almost $21. These 2 meals were $65. I will stick with michealanos from now on.

Food and service were excellent. We had the Parmesan wings as an appetizer. The sauce was excellent. Had the cannelloni and the Italian spinach salad. Both were also very good.

We really wanted to enjoy the food here since the atmosphere and wait staff were great. The prime rib was cooked well just missing au jus and salt! We always judge a good Italian restaurant by their ability to make Alfredo and this place did not hit the mark. The plate had broken sauce and the second plate just had sauce dumped on top. I was grateful for the extra sauce but could have done without the oil from the broken sauce. Might try again just because of the great service.

Had a wonderful date night at Messina’s. We had the chicken Alfredo and the Lobster ravioli special, both were delicious and filling. The server and waitstaff were all excellent and created a wonderful experience.

Stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner with friends. Server was exceedingly pleasant and helpful with suggestions on what to order. I ordered the baked mostaccoli. It was a very nice size portion but the sauce was runny and did not have much flavor. My friends had the eggplant parmey and the spaghetti Bolognese – again nice size portions. They indicated that they enjoyed their dinners so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

As has been reviewed here in the past, great food and hard-working service, way above average. The only negative is the owner/manager who apparently doesn’t understand polite Midwest culture or just dislikes customers. I’m sure some will say oh, you’ve got to get to know him. Nope.
