This coffee has many things to mention…
Structure: the place looks nice and very spacious. You have at least 2 more floors and big tables and smalls livings.
Food:, very good quality and fresh. The bad side is that they can not heat up any of the pastry’s they have on the exhibition counter but you can get warm food from the menu.
Beverages: we ordered a cappuccino and a matcha, I will say the coffee it is way better.
Price: quite a bit expensive, they charge 1,25 extra for milk alternatives. The Avo tortini it is a bit overpriced.
Overall it is a good coffee place but a bit pricy.

A lovely spot with delicious pastries made in house, and fabulous drinks. The kouign-amann is excellent! Perfectly crispy and flaky outside, with a generous coating of sugar, and an incredible inside with that perfect jammy custard texture. Atmosphere is bright and open, and the cups and mugs on offer are classic and fun.

Great Enviro. Chocolate croissant was great but didn’t have a lot of chocolate on the inside. Food took a minute but was definitely made with care. Staff was noligable and kind!

Looking for a great cup of coffee without needing to fill out an instant credit application to purchase it? Try Messenger coffee. This particular location has a 50s 60s Diner Vibe yet still modern. They handcraft their drinks right as you wait in the price is fantastic.

Very overrated coffee shop. Coffee was bitter and sour. They served espresso in a large plastic cup ♀️ idk how difficult to get a proper dishes for each type of drinks.
Bakery was not running, and no fresh pastry on Sunday morning.
Generally place was not well cleaned.
I saw a lot of negative reviews about rude service, but here I would say opisit. The one thing that was pleasant is nice people behind the counter.

This was definitely worth the visit. The house-made syrups were yummy in my matcha. However, the Kouign Aman pastry is the STAR here! Perfect texture; soft on the inside, flaky and sugary on the outside. I’m not exaggerating when I say it is the highlight of my trip so far, but I’m a pastry girl. My husband got the Focaccia and Lox; and while seafood isn’t my thing, he said he was taken somewhere else by both taste and texture.
My only complaints are that I wished the Blackberry Thyme turnover had had more filling, and the breakfast burrito didn’t have the vegetarian option. Be aware, they can’t do any substitutions on the burrito because they are premade.
Also, just know this is a busy place, so the lines and the food wait time can be a while. We came on a Sunday morning, so I don’t know if it’s different on other days, but I wouldn’t treat this like a quick stop unless you are ONLY getting pastries, and even then the lines might be long.
We will be back!

Messenger Coffee is one of my favorite spots in the city! The avocado toast is always a win, and you truly can’t go wrong with any of their baked pastries—the almond croissant is a must-try. I also love the Honey Bear latte for something a little different. The rooftop seating with a view of the city makes it even better. Great coffee, great food, and a great vibe in an ideal location!

The cheese slippers are pricy, but delicious! I ate about half of it and I was full. Service is friendly, and I liked the coffee too.

Let me start by saying the croissant I had was the best, most scrumptious, flaky croissant I’ve ever had. It was fantastic. That being said, the service wasn’t great. I ordered a coffee, and the young lady who took the order was a little cold, but that seems par for the course, but it got really bad when my coffee was ready. The portly young man called out order for ‘Randolph’ which is not my name, so I inquired if he meant Rudolph. He snidely replied “That’s what I said “ I told him I just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t taking someone else’s drink. If I don’t know anything else, I know my name, and when it’s mispronounced. He could’ve admitted the mistake, but he didn’t and the condescending way it all went down is why i wouldn’t frequent this place. The bakery offerings are phenomenal, but not worth being treated poorly. Customer service needs to make a come back.
