I visited this Italian restaurant in Aguadilla and overall had a very pleasant experience. The service was friendly and welcoming from the start, the cocktails were well crafted, and the food was excellent, with great flavor and presentation.

The only downside was the wait time. Although we were seated quickly, it took about an hour for the food to arrive. That said, the quality of the food and the attentive service made it worth it. I would definitely return, just not in a rush.

Italian restaurant located right next to the Aguadilla town square, specializing in Neapolitan pizza. The experience was outstanding from beginning to end.

I don’t recall the exact name of the pizza I ordered, but I believe it was the Burrata, prepared with béchamel, pesto, burrata, prosciutto di Parma, and arugula. It was exceptionally flavorful, and it was evident that only fresh, high-quality ingredients were used.

Regarding the cocktails, I sampled the Domitia, Marcus, and Nero (mezcal, smoked pineapple juice, lime juice, and ginger beer). The Nero was, without question, my favorite, captivating my palate with its depth and balance of flavors.

The ambiance is refined yet welcoming, complemented by excellent music. The service provided by Carolina was impeccable, attentive, professional, and warm throughout the evening.

As a final recommendation, for a truly complete experience, opt for the outdoor seating around 6:00 PM, where you can enjoy a stunning Aguadilla sunset.

My favorite pizza on the island!! The crust is almost like sourdough, I could eat just the crust and be happy. There are a several tasty pizzas but the burrata pizza is by far my favorite. Love the house salad as well. Plus everything is very reasonably priced.

They’ve done a really good job with the atmosphere as well. Like a touch of Italy in Puerto Rico. Especially the outside area.

If you can, sit at the bar in Robbys section! He makes amazing cocktails and super attentive service.

We were seated outside right by the road, which can be charming but there were people smoking and police driving by. We waited at least 20 minutes for someone to even come over to take our drink order. We ordered our meal with our drinks. It took 1 1/2 hours from when we ordered to get our food. We get island time but we saw tables around us being seated and getting food way before us. For the price, the food was just okay. The beef short rib was really tough, the bolognese had meat surprise including pepperoni and the risotto was SO salty. The pizza was the only sort of okay thing. The pepperoni were charred, which is not everyones thing. The waitress was apologetic but there was no remedy offered. All in all, I would not recommend people eating here based on bad food and slow slow service.

Lovely staff, great drinks, poor food

Ordered the burrata, asked for no arugula; the dish arrived with arugula and the waiter saying they would remake it if it was a problem. Odd choice, but no problem.

But…. The charred tomatoes weren’t charred, half were rock solid black lumps of carbon. The pesto was oddly smeared on the edges – see photos. Overall, think we were unlucky, as the food other diners had looked excellent

So good we went two days in a row! The wood-fired pizza is absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. The salads were incredibly fresh and flavorful, a perfect balance to the pizza. The restaurant has such a great vibe, and the indoor/outdoor seating makes it even better. One of those places you immediately want to come back to—highly recommend!

We didn’t try much food here—just stopped by for some coconut ice cream. My friend ordered a drink, which he didn’t like at first because it was quite sour. He had to ask for some sweetener to make it more palatable. The coconut ice cream was excellent, with a rich and flavorful taste. The server was very kind and friendly. We were there around sunset, and the weather was perfect—this spot is a lovely place to relax, eat, or have a drink during that time of day.

Messalina made a superb first impression! The service was a definite highlight, with our server, Mila, providing genuinely top-notch attention and always going the extra mile to please.
We were also impressed by how quickly our food arrived. The Paccheri and burrata appetizers set a high bar, offering both generous portions and fantastic flavor. But it was the brisket pizza that truly stole the show—it was beyond incredible, especially with the fresh arugula we added.
All in all, a highly recommended dining spot. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back to Messalina!
