Took a chance on a long drive and we are not disappointed. We are planning on stopping again on the way back through. The menu is typical Tex Mex. The chips are thin and crispy, great flavor. The hot sauce has a more smoky chipotle flavor than tomato or spice. The cheese dip looks plain but the flavor was great and it came with jalapeños too add to preference. We got the Nachos Sabrosas and the lunch tacos all carbon. The nachos were on individual chips. Beans have a good flavor. But the beef in the Tacos al Carbon was by far the BEST part of our meal. The marinated flavor was delicious and tender. I would put it in the top of any I’ve ever had. So so good!

So we live about 20 minutes east of Sealy but were told the Mexican food at Mesquite is worth the drive so we grabbed the kids and headed over on a Saturday morning. We arrived a little after 1100 and the crowd was already starting to arrive. Luis was the gentleman helping us and he was fast and efficient. The salsa has a good flavor and isn’t too spicy. We started with a large order of queso (they do have white queso by the way) along with a side of sliced fresh jalapenos. It was good but not extraordinary. I ordered the crispy beef tacos. The flavor was good and the food came out hot. My wife ordered the green enchiladas. She was very pleased with the flavor and they were hot and she left the plate empty! My daughter had soft beef tacos. She said they were good. Finally my son had the queso covered burrito. He said it was excellent. The prices were reasonable ($67 for 4 guests and an appetizer including the tip). We definitely will be back.

Don’t judge a book by it’s Cover. I tried to find this place and I thought it was closed when I went inside. It was full vibrant with bustling people and then the food was phenomenal.
After doing so many miles on the road getting to somewhere they that wasn’t a big box franchise was such a pleasure and this Mexican food was incredibly fresh and the people were absolutely lovely even though my Spanish is horrendous

Great little Tex-Mex restaurant in Sealy. I had the Tex-Mex enchiladas and they were delicious. Just what the doctor ordered! I am from NYC and i was really craving some Tex Mex. The service was terrific.
