The food was just okay. Prices are a little higher than the average Mexican restaurant so you would expect that it would taste just as good or better but unfortunately it’s only mid. I’m used to enjoying tasty Mexican dishes. I had to add salt to the guacamole, although the guacamole taste fresh and it was good, it definitely had no seasoning so adding salt in the lime made it very good. The other guest in my party enjoyed their steak and tacos and other items, but other than the steak, it wasn’t the best Mexican food we’ve had or even one of the top choices. The drinks however, were flavorful and definitely had enough alcohol for a buzz lol. We all ordered different types of margaritas and all of the Margaritas were tasty and you could feel the alcohol but not in a overbearing or strong way. This is a cozy neighborhood Mexican restaurant so it’s great for after work or get together with friends or family. Even though the food was only okay I still gave them four stars simply because our server was good and it’s a comfortable environment.

The waiters are so nice. The food always comes out nice and hot. They don’t charge for chips and salsa with free refills. They have a very big area that accommodates large parties

It was horrible!, the food was horrible drinks were 3.25 js for it to be horrible. Our server Angelica was horrible.. she rushed us , and most of the time the entire staff stood at the front of the store talking . We didnt tip uer because she barely served us and when i had a question it was “its on the menu” so when we left she caught us getting in the car and said “thanks for the tip” knowing we didnt tip her .. she didnt even take the card another server did.. i had my mom call the manager and HE was rude he said his name was “Fredo” we asked for the corporate he said no corporate that he owned the restaurant than a minute later told us his boss is there mon-Tues after my mom said the call was recorded. He repeatedly told my mom was rude and Angelica was amazing and they had great service.. i do not recommend ..now i know why they are always so slow.

I had visited this location of a Mexican restaurant several years ago and found the visit to be pleasant. However, last night’s visit was a nightmare. It started out as a pleasant dream being seated outside and being greeted by a pleasant waiter. I ordered a drink that didn’t have the price of it on the menu. My date and I ordered the fajitas. She had vegetarian and I had chicken. The guacamole that was initially brought out looked old and was a bit spicy. We reported this to a different waiter who immediately told us it was not spicy and I reiterated that it was spicy to us. He then said he would bring us out some fresh guacamole. The guacamole he brought was fresh and the difference from the first was like night and day. The fajitas were brought out steaming but it looked very burnt and overcooked. I was hungry so I ate most of mines but my date barely touched hers. I asked for the manager and he stopped at the table before ours to chat for over 5 minutes with another guest. Our waiter came back out and asked had the manager seen us and I said no. He looked surprised and said that’s him. He went over to the manager. The manager then went to a different table to chat. He finally made his way to our table. I informed him that I thought it was rude for him not visit until he finished chatting since we had requested him. I do understand taking time to talk to your guess but not ignoring a guest who requested you. I then told him about the spicy and what we considered old guacamole. He stated it was fresh and we must be mistaken and the waiter could not have brought us any other fresh guacamole. We had to have the waiter to come over who stated to him that he did tell us that the 2nd bowl of guacamole that he brought out was fresh and that they had just made it. The manager then stated that oh, that was avocado and not guacamole. I then asked could he take off the 2.99 that they clearly had written on the receipt as guacamole since he believed it was avocado. He did after making the comment that it only was 2.99. I then told him that the fajitas were overcooked. He went on to explain to me that some people liked them cooked that way. At this point I knew there was no reasoning with this manager. I asked him does he take time to listen to his guest. I paid the bill minus the 2.99 for what was avocado instead of guacamole and left the waiter about a tip. The waiter was good but of course I have no plans of visiting this restaurant again.

The Volcano ‘molcajete’ was great. Chorizo queso for the base, carnitas, chicken and beef – generous amount.

Came here on 12/14 to get food to go. Saw I was being charged an ToGo and Credit Card fee. I asked the waiter when did they start doing this and he said about a year ago. I come here very often – the last time I came was this past Friday (12/12) and I was not charged either fees this visit or the previous visits. I’m not too pleased and more than likely won’t go back.

Being new to the area and coming from Gwinnett County, where there are a variety of Spanish cuisines to choose from, I was hoping this place was going to meet a Spanish man’s expectations but unfortunately it failed miserably. This is not authentic Spanish food, nor is it fresh food. My order was put in and 3mins later it came out boxed and bagged and ready to go. One word when eating these nachos: soggy and over priced. I may see an opportunity to open an authentic Latino restaurant soon. The staff was extremely friendly! 2 stars for that. Good luck to this establishment. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back.

Mexican food is my favorite type of food but this place isn’t good. The food is mid and the service is terrible. They rush you to order, they stare at you while you’re eating like right in your eyes and they treat people like me terribly. I’m a great tipper even on a $10-$15 meal with very little care I tip half of my food price. I’ve stopped going here mostly because the food was gross but I can’t stand the servers here ♀️.

I’ve been here a couple of times, and the folks here are friendly and willing to work around some dietary issues one person in our group had. The food is tasty, and they have a good variety. They even have a salmon filet served with mashed potatoes.
The atmosphere is typical shopping center Mexican, but they’re in a really good location and convenient to quite a few of my family members. Of course, your mileage, as they say, may vary.

I’ve lived in Locust Grove for about 7 years now, when my family first moved out here this was our go to Mexican Restaurant, eaten here plenty of times and I always order the same thing. I’m not sure if they changed the recipe or something but I have a real bad nut allergy that affects my breathing almost immediately and the last two times I’ve tried eating here I’ve had to go to the hospital.
