Born in Old Town Scottsdale in 2015, Mesquite set out to serve bold, fire-grilled Mexican street food that hits different. Never again I been to a lot of Mesquite location, I just pass and stop. The food was gross the carne asada was reheat very hard. The rice was reheat hard too. Means were okay, I’m very upset I usually go to surprise Az and you can see when they are making the meat in the grill here is only outside and you can’t see if it’s grilled. NEVER AGAIN DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE GO TO SURPRISE AZ. By the way employees had great customer service it was just the food.

This place smells amazing. Reminds me of real Mexican street food and grilled meat. Small restaurant with no inside dining. They do have a nice small outside seating area and a to go Window and pick up Window. They have 2 drive thru lanes and appear to be setup to do a lot of order ahead and pick up.
I settled on the barbacoa burrito with everything in it. Meat, Beans, Rice, Guac, pico de Gallo. It came with a red and green hot sauce. Both are great, green I very mild and red has a nice kick. I actually preferred a mixture of both as the green has a Tomatillo flavor. The burrito itself was very large. Bigger than Chipotle and not as expensive. It was hot and fresh and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. It is definitely filling and you get your money’s worth. The barbacoa was very tender and good and not overly salty like some barbacoa or Birria. I will be back and I am glad I tried this new place, definitely a good spot to grab a quick lunch.

Honestly third time today I’ve eaten their tacos, and I’ve gotta say they are some of the best I have ever had. The steak and barbacoa is so damn good like…the best. Always taste fresh and delicious. 5 stars for sure.

So day my job bought my co worker and I lunch. I had the bright idea to suggest these place. We wear hairnets at my job. I almost started to take them a hand full of hairnets because they really need them. Totally disgusted
So when I called to tell the manager about the situation she had a horrible attitude! Said bring receipt back and they would remake it but they didn’t give a receipt. Don’t go to this location they are terrible!

First time ordering as a pick up, with a custom breakfast burrito and two breakfast tacos (steak, eggs, potatoes, two types of salsa)… and wow, I was definitely blown away by the level of quality: the quality of the ingredients, the preparation, packaging, ease of ordering… just all-around excellent and I am definitely gonna be coming back here on the regular

Decided it to try it for the first time today. Chicken is too salty like extra salty could not finish them. Ordered 4 tacos 2 steak on corn, 1 chicken on corn and 1 steak on flower, all of them with everything on. Got three chicken on corn with everything and a sad plain steak on flour. Honestly that was the best one the plain steak. I was not given a receipt after I paid and I didn’t think nothing of it but it is what it is. Will not be back.

This spot is really just white people mexican food. Its not terrible but if youre.looking for good Mexican food, this is not the spot. Food was okay but not like a good Mexican joint. And their “big quesadilla” is normal sized. 1 tortilla, folded in half and cut into 4s with meat only towards the center.

Update on my last review my two bowls came with no meat whatsoever I called to discuss the situation and the male I spoke with was very apologetic and explained they do have somebody new. He took care of the issue right away and made two new bowls which was highly appreciated !!!
