Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! Highly recommend the Cajun Seafood Pasta. It was super fresh and full of meat. The Beef Ribs, lentils and collard greens were good, too. Full bar with plenty of cocktails and a decent selection of wine. Really nice service! It was a little pricey, but I will return (maybe save it for a special occasion next time)!

Mesob was absolutely delicious! We started with steamed mussels and jerk chicken bao buns. The chicken was tender and flavorful. For an entree I had the coconut curry shrimp and my husband had the oxtail. Both dishes were really good, but would definitely try other dishes the next time we go. The atmosphere and service was great. Would definitely come back!

A good nearby Ethiopian option if you are up north. They also serve Caribbean food.

We ordered the Ethiopian Vegetarian Platter which feeds two, it comes with four dishes plus a salad, with one roll of injera. You probably won’t have much, if any leftover, but unless you are starving it should be plenty for two to get full.

The main entrees come with two sides! The Platter does not! We accidentally ordered a couple of large sides, but ended up with leftovers, so not all bad.

Overall the menu prices seem a little on the high side, but the platter that we ordered was actually pretty reasonable for the amount of food.

The sides are a bit expensive, but they are pretty large portions, so it balances out!

The atmosphere inside was pretty nice, with stone pillars. Seemed like a nicer remodeled chain, maybe a Carrabba’s. Medium sized, but divided up a little so it feels slightly cozier, plenty of seating for a good sized party. They had some porch seating as well.

The service was friendly, they were busy and the host seemed distracted so we waited for a bit. But once our waiter realized that we were waiting they were super fast and friendly. Our food was probably out in five minutes after we ordered!

This restaurant was recommended by my daughter’s friend. I dined there twice this week. The service was great and the cuisines were exceptional. As a New Orleans native, it’s hard for non-New Orleanian restaurants to impress me, but I must give credit to Mesob. It is the epitome of great tasting, flavorful Creole and African food. I absolutely enjoyed every bite and every minute of my dining experience.

I recently had the most fun dining experience. Let me start with walking in, I was in awe of the decor and the esthetics of the place. Well put together and clean. I appreciate that in any establishment. It reflects the business owners truly caring about their product. Now, let’s get to the food. I was on a mission to try things I’ve never had before. I had the tarot root fritters, so good. It took me back home to Jamaica. There was also a fried conch, soooooo delicious. Not too many places serve Branzino, so when I saw it on a menu I had to try it. I’ve had the Branzino fish in other high end restaurants and I can truly say it didn’t even compare to the flavor and the amount that came out on my plate. My husband and brother in law enjoyed their dish as well. Apparently the baby back jerk ribs is on point. I will also add the rum punch and Whiskey was niiiiiiiice! All I have to say, I could kick myself for not trying this location in Parkville even sooner. Btw the servings were so much that we left with leftovers. “No need to cook tonight is what I say”
Thank you Mesob!

Mesob Restaurant offered an exquisite culinary journey! The Lambi was tender, lamb tibs bursting with flavor, and red lentils rich and hearty. The Caribbean chicken was a savory delight. For dessert, the upside-down rum cake was a sweet and boozy finale. The warm ambiance and attentive service made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend this Ethiopian and Caribbean fusion gem! The food is Fantastic!

The service and atmosphere are as good as expected. Comfortable and not overly formal, you won’t feel out of place whatever your dress level.
The food is for the most part simple, but delicious. We had the doro tibs and the Haitian fried chicken.
Our server was knowledgeable on gluten free options and ingredients and was excellent with his recommendations.
The pricing is a little steep but the portions are great sized and the flavors are excellent.
The size of the restaurant is on the smaller size, presenting a cozy atmosphere. Surrounded by windows they are definitely using the natural light available brings an easy going atmosphere to the space.
Will definitely find a reason to stop by again.

Elegant dining place. Wonder staff and excellent food. I had the Stormy Rum drink, then we shared the Jerk Duck Bao Buns, very delicious. Entrees I had the Coconut Curry Shrimp. Didn’t look like a lot but absolutely is plenty with 5 jumbo shrimp. Husband had the Salmon Awaze Tibs and it is a unique dish and does not disappoint, the lentils were a little spicy. Dessert we shared the Oreo Bread Pudding and enjoyed it. Looking forward on going back to try more items!

We have visited Mesob when they were in their first location, then when they moved across the street into the corner lot we enjoyed Mother’s Day brunch, anniversary lunch and many memories. With them opening up a second location in the Northland it opened up more opportunity to make the drive as it is MUCH closer to us. New staff, new building but the same great flavors! We are excited to continue to watch this family bring foods to our city that just make you want nothing else. Last nights dinner was just that. Originally our daughter wasn’t sure of the options so got her the mac n cheese, found myself trying it and it was so creamy and flavorful! I git the chicken jambalaya and believe it or not our daughter ate three plates of it, that’s how delicious it was – like hot Cheetos, they are spicy but a good spicy! My husband got the Jerk Ribs… they were literally the best ribs ever tasted and I don’t like red meat often. As always we started with the Banane Pesee (fried plantains & spicy slaw)

Highly recommend giving them a try for a date night or even family dinner if you are looking to try something new.

We live in the northland area and was excited to try this place. We didn’t realize it was restaurant week, so we were a little disappointed that we couldn’t order off their full menu, but the disappointment changed quickly. The service was great, the food was beyond our expectations. Everything was prepared perfectly. We would definitely go back again. I would recommend this place for a great place to eat with great food. One thing to note, they didn’t have their liquor license so no alcohol that night. Don’t let that deter you from trying this place
