”My first thoughts when I entered Meskel were culture and comfort. Being from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this was a different and beautiful experience for me. I really enjoyed the laid-back environment; each time I’ve come, I see groups of people together, quietly communicating and enjoying the space.
I visited on a Sunday and my waitresses, [Freay], took amazing care of me. I requested to see the Buna (coffee) ceremony, and they graciously obliged. They allowed me to ask questions and helped me understand the traditions better. The coffee tastes great, and the scent of the Et’an (frankincense) was wonderful. A truly authentic gem in Stone Mountain!

These guys are awesome. So welcoming. Delicious food. I will go out of my way to come here. The staff is so good, the environment is great, and boy, I’ll tell you, talk about making us feel good about our decision to go. We went on a whim, and it was awesome. Thank you! You all deserve to succeed! I can’t get over how good the food is.

We (my family and I) eat here once a week. The quality of their food is very consistent. The kitfo is best in town. Sega firfir-amazing, shiro be dist- top notch, their tibs is sizzling, tastey and fils the table with its pleasant smell. The food servers- Lemlem, Embet, Eden are our favorite.- welcoming, pleasant conversation, very relational and on the job. They complete our family meeting with great eating experience every week. Thank you all at Meskel. I highly recommend !

it’s clear they play favorites. Business should be about fairness and consistency, not who you know. I came here to support a local shop, but I won’t be returning. Do better.

The food is average. The waiters have no business face. We’ve to wave our hands to call them. No one checks upon customers. It seems they don’t like their job. Please do something else if you’re not happy about what you’re doing. It is not for free we pay for it. It is our hard earned money.

I tried kitfo, kitfo dulet and dulet at this restaurant. All there were bad. They don’t have the buttery and spicy taste.
Place is clean and nice. Service is reasonably good as well but I can’t pass the fact that the food they serve (3 I tried) weren’t even close to be good.
Disappointed with the food but okay tea and good service might keep this place open.
