My husband and I were craving Mexican, so we decided to check out **Mesita**—and we’re so glad we did. We arrived around 4:30 and were seated right away in a very comfortable booth. We started with the homemade guacamole, which did not disappoint, and I enjoyed a delicious margarita.
We ordered the steak burrito and the pork burrito bowl, and both were outstanding. The yuca fries that come with the meal—along with the dipping sauce—were incredibly good. I also loved that they brought ice water to the table and were attentive about refilling it without being asked.
Our server, Orlando, was friendly and very attentive throughout our meal. When we left about an hour later, the place was packed, which says a lot. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting—lively, but not overly loud. We will definitely be back.

I’m sorry but it suck’s to have such a nice place around the block from my house with the worst food. This is my 2nd time coming and it was worse than the first. The yuca fries with pickled onions were so under cooked barely edible. They served cabbage instead of onions too? Maybe thought I wouldn’t notice bc they are both purple? I asked for ranch and the manager was like will do you one better here’s a sauce everyone loves! And brings me out the same sauce he saw sitting right in front of me with the yuca fries. Attention to detail much? And the sauce was a weird brown salty syrup. I left horribly confused me and my husband just went to amity ales instead. Always a good time!

Such a wonderful anniversary dinner at Mesita. We were welcomed with smiles and a surprise gift card. We were also given complimentary champagne when they learned it was our anniversary. When it was time for dessert they brought out a sparkler with our sundae. We felt like we were on vacation! We can’t wait to come back thank you Mesita staff for such a wonderful evening!

For Mexican restaurant standards, it was not fitting. I loved the decoration, beautiful building, ambience, lights and great music. The food, very average. The portions doesn’t fit the expectations of mexican restaurants, where you can share one dish between 2-3 people sometimes. My steak fajitas had 4 pieces of stake, the onions were not totally cooked so the taste was all over my mouth. The sweet plantains were absolutely amazing. Guacamole too chunky for my taste, but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t good. I asked a passion fruit frozen margarita, but i think i drank a regular one (?) Anyways, If I compare to other Mexicans that I’ve been, this one would be on the bottom of my list.

We were celebrating our 26th wedding Anniversary and our waitress was Tania. She was AMAZING!! Very attentive to detail, truly took her time to help us decide on our cocktails and food choices. I decided to give this place a 2nd chance. The building and atmosphere are great. The hostesses are awesome. I paid the bill for myself and 3 other guests. I didn’t want to complain to the waitress because I wanted to keep the mood positive. Literally, my whole meal was not good. I ordered an $18 margarita which was not good. You either know how to make a good margarita or not. Next the guacamole was basically tasteless. It was fresh, but just missing the right ingredients. We ordered the medium because the waitress said the spicy is crazy hot. I make guacamole and order it out pretty often so I can make a fair judgement. The chips not great either. Then I get my chicken enchilades….again not good. It was so disappointing. Food presentation was good, just didn’t taste good.

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, friendly, attentive, and welcoming from both the waitress Cara and the manager David. You can really tell they care about their guests.
