Very solid food here and a nice environment. I typically eat here at lunch. Really recommend the Mole Negro dish. It’s vegan, I’m not – but this is my favorite thing on the menu. I also recommend the chips and salsa, or if you are hungry or with group, the guacamole is made table side.

Arrived for a coworkers celebration and was impressed at the parking lot! All the benches and the speakers playing Christmas music made me smile! I was late, so I walked quickly through this beautiful restaurant, loving the ambiance and decor…. making me feel like I was in one of the epic restaurants in San Miguel DeAliende!! All of our food was SO delicious! The only fault in our experience was our bill at the end. There were a few extra charges added, and even though we got it all worked out, if we hadn’t said anything or asked for an itemized list, we would have overpaid.

We happen to drive by looking for somewhere to eat and found this place. I am so glad we did! It was delicious! From the service to the atmosphere and attention to detail. The portions were just right.
However the only issue I found was they add a kitchen appreciation fee to your check without telling you and still want you to tip as well. It is fine but it would be nice to know in advance that they will be adding this charge.

Today 04/22/2025, Tues, was our first trip to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised it was happy hour. The white fish ceviche tostada was perfecto. We ordered Chipotle chicken tostada, yummers. We ordered two street tacos plates, al pastor and carne asada. All wonderfully fresh, tasty and plated with vibrant vegetables.

Horrible and greedy experience!! I am never going back here. We ordered 1 appetizer, 3 main course dishes, no drinks. Actual bill was $65. They added 3.5% Kitchen appreciation fee. On top demanded tip. We ended up paying $90+. Ridiculous.

Great service, great atmosphere, food was a little dissapointing, very small portions, got short ribs, extremely little meat,mostly bone. Small scoop of beans and rice which cost nothing.

My favorite spot for great Mexican cuisine, the beautiful decor is the icing on the cake. I recently went and was pleasantly surprised to see the menu has more options for meat eaters to vegans and vegetarians, without compromising the great flavors of Mexican food. If you want some great food and ambiance this is it!!!

Out family absolutely loved this restaurant. What a beautiful hidden gem. First I have to say that the esthetics of this restaurant takes you to Mexico. The drinks are treasures with authentic flavor and flair. But the crown jewel is the food. You can definitely tell that the chef chose the menu to give you a great variety of foods from all of Mexico. This is now one of our families favorite restaurants. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you Mesa Mercado for the wonderful hospitality and Devine flavors.

This was our first time back to Mesa Mercado since Covid struck. There was a light crowd on Saturday at 5 PM. The hostess/bartender greeted us nicely. We chose to sit at a table and have a drink while waiting for our meal to be prepared to take home. My daughter chose the house margarita which was tasty and refreshing. I went with one of their several beers on tap and chose the Golden Road Mango Cart, a very flavorful mango wheat beer. I have been a fan of wheat beers since first introduced to them in Germany back in the day. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very festive and inviting. We enjoyed our wait. As for our menu selections that evening, I will remember the next time that not everybody makes the same item the same way. That said, my carnitas were good, but not what I expected. I could have done without the rice. The beans were delicious, but the serving was the size of a small salsa container, not enough! We did not receive a single tortilla with our meal, which surprised me. Who does not eat tortillas with such meals? We would have gladly paid extra, if we had been told. That said, my wife grilled up some delicious corn tortillas when we got home! My wife had wanted a chili verde burrito, but it was not on the menu, so we just got her a serving of chili verde. We did not receive the side salad we were told she would get. My daughter went with the carne asada and enchilada plate which was delicious! A nice portion of meat grilled nicely. We shared the deconstructed guacamole which was delicious as it always was, but not big enough a serving for three as were told. It would be okay for one, maybe two. The chips and salsa were very tasty. There were plenty of chips for the three of us. The salsa servings are smaller. I would recommend you choose your favorite and buy extra! The service was great! The food was of the highest quality and very tasty! The next time, we will do a better job ordering the right menu items and if we take it to go, make sure we check our order before we leave. We will be back!
