I arrived here at the restaurant at10AM. Sign said open. I entered the restaurant and the lady said hello and she said what would you like to drink and I told her a diet Pepsi. I turned to get some food and everything was empty. “NOT GOOD AT ALL!” It is now 1020 and only two things of soup was brought out to the buffet bar. As I was sitting here waiting for the food to be brought out I noticed the floors were dirty and the restaurant smells dirty and the stinch of mold could be smelt in the air. This place needs to be investigated by local health department. It is 10:45 and still no food. I am out of here. Ohh she charged me $2.17 for the soda. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!

I’m sorry to do this. I never do. I have worked in the food industry and I know how stressful it can be but a major overhaul needs to take place. I’m pretty sure it was the shrimp. My stomach has been torn up all day. Can’t stay out of the bathroom. I’m sorry to say this but all the one star reviews are correct. I have no idea how you are still in business. I hope changes can be made to get quality standards back up. By a mile, worst Chinese buffet experience I have ever had and I’m 46. Please do better. I want my 35 dollars back. 🙁

I ate here on Saturday September 13, 2025 around 05:30 pm. I was surprised to find myself the only customer at the time but enjoyed my dinner. I found the selection quite varied and fresh with a great taste. I loved all the classics but really liked the sautéed mushrooms. The young gentleman provided prompt and friendly service and was attentive in keeping the ice tea topped off and removal of dishes as I went back for more…. If you like a good authentic Chinese Buffet this place is a great place to go IMHO, highly recommend!

We used to come here often, food was always great but the last time we stopped by, (about 5 months ago) the food didn’t taste the same. In fact, the food tasted awful. Something was off. We were very disappointed.

We were the only ones there!! That should have been a red flag. Food looked as if it had been out all day. We should have ran! Paid almost $30 for 2 meals and drank water. We were hungry and wanted Chinese food but will definitely not go there again.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! I moved away and come visit as often as I can and they still remember me! I love that!! ABSOLUTE THE BEST CRAB RAGGOONS I’ve ever had. They always make Us feel welcome and at home. Some ppl complaining in these reviews will never be happy no matter what. Some ppl will always cry about something, just know Merryland Express may not have a huge selection, but I love the fact that the food they do have, they have perfected it!! Love & Miss You guys! The food is not hot it’s room temperature. The vegetables are hard and raw. Not a clean place. The desert is boxes cake’s like a generic Twinkie. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Just hoping I don’t get sick from eating it.

Wanted to eat Chinese food again.
I am beyond disappointed. Everything tasted horrible and had the same flavor. The fruit bar was non-existent except for unripe watermelon and tasteless pineapple. Store bought cakes and jello there.
Main courses not hot and fresh.
Egg drop soup was hot, but salty and tasteless. Little crispy pieces that you put in egg drop soup stale and no crispness to them.
I wasted $17. I am not a complainer usually, but this was so unappetizing, I want to let others know my experience. I ate there at 12:30, lunchtime- food should be plentiful and hot.
