The manager and another employee were extremely rude to me. I was starting to become a regular customer and was belittled for riding a scooter and asking for the more shiny batch of chocolate chip cookies; they told me they were the same at first but I wanted the batch that looked far more fresh; this upset them and they told me to get my scooter and get out… I didn’t think I was causing any issue but treated rude the whole time. They also far prioritized closing 30 minutes early, before helping me, which didn’t make sense either.

I hope they fire that manager. She said I was acting ugly for asking for the more fresh batch when I was just being a normal customer; the manager was the one acting ‘ugly’ here. To put it in her own words. I’m telling my whole family about this!!

I accidentally selected pickup in Midtown instead of BA. As soon as I noticed, I emailed asking if they could change the location. I never received a response. Days later, I drove all the way to Midtown only to be told my order was actually in BA. A simple message could have saved me that trip.
Better communication with customers would make a big difference.

I’ve been stopping by Merritt’s Bakery in Broken Arrow the last couple of weeks in the evenings before heading to the dog park, and it’s always a treat—literally! My pup loves their dog biscuits, and I can never resist grabbing one of their amazing white cupcakes. The girls who work here are always so nice, helpful, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, which makes every visit even better. We love this location and will definitely keep coming back!

Merritt’s Bakery is a delightful haven for sweet enthusiasts! Every bite feels like a warm hug from grandma, and the aroma alone is enough to transport you to dessert heaven. From delectable pastries to heavenly cakes, Merritt’s craftsmanship is truly a treat for the senses. A visit to this bakery is like stepping into a sugary fairy tale – sweet, enchanting, and utterly satisfying.

I came back a year after my wedding because I forgot to write a review. I was standing in my kitchen just now admiring the wedding photos I hung when my mouth started to water. I crave my wedding cake and cupcakes at least once a week and I am a person that typically doesn’t care much for cake, they were that good. I even hung photos of our cake cutting in my kitchen because while our photographer was amazing the cake and cupcakes are a work of art. I cannot recommend Merritt’s Bakery enough for your Wedding! They were fantastic to work with and created the dreamiest desserts for our magical day!!

I have nothing but great things to say about the broken arrow location! I went today to grab a sandwich with my two young daughters. My 4 year old kept talking about this pink cake she was going to get for her birthday and pointed out the one she’d want. (Her birthday isn’t until march). My food was ready and we left. When I got home and looked in the bag, there was a piece of the cake she had been talking about in there! It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our day!!

Edited to add: They contacted my sister and offered her a refund. That was very nice that they wanted us to be happy. I was not expecting that.

My sister ordered cake pops from here for our mom’s memorial service. She paid more for 2 dozen cake pops ($120) then I paid for 4 dozen mini Nothing Bunt Cakes($98). The cake pops were ok, nothing special. The disappointing thing was they were flat on the top, so when they were put on the stand they looked ugly. I really expected better from one of the most popular bakeries in town.

Rude staff. The young woman helping us couldn’t be bothered to do anything. I was looking at the macarons, no staff was near that area of the case, and I blindly picked a flavor. All staff was at one end of the cases, no one moved to help me. I had to go to her. She was rude and rushing my girlfriend and I. Prices are fine. Eclair breading wasn’t good, but the filling and icing were fine. The macaron was pistachio like I hoped. The glare on the case was terrible from the afternoon sun and made it difficult to see. It also made it hot. I felt like I was bothering the staff by coming in to purchase sweets. Weird.

We love Merritt’s. My family absolutely loves when I come home with Almond Croissants and those Cherry Cheese Twist things. Lol. At least once a year, we grab one of the chocolate cakes with all the layers. It tastes like a Hostess cupcake.

Fresh baked lies. I tried this bakery for the first time, they were supposed to have a great baked goods. The pictures online made me hopeful. The pie I received was pretty disappointing, both in look and taste. I’m pretty sure a toddler made the pie. Consisted of mostly just raw brown sugar with a very small amount of apple filling and a caramel “drizzle” that looks like it’s from a store bought bottle. This place may have been amazing in its early days but has fallen from grace. Would not return.
