Stopped in last night with a large group of family and friends after attending a wake. It was getting late and we were all hungry and tired, so everyone was looking forward to sitting down, having a good meal, and unwinding with a cocktail.

Our server was wonderful, the food came out quickly, and the portions were generous enough that many of us brought home leftovers for another meal. There was also acoustic music playing, which added a really nice touch—it was enjoyable without being too loud, and we could still easily hear each other across the table.

Overall, it was a comfortable and welcoming place to spend the evening without feeling rushed or like we were inconveniencing anyone. Five stars for sure!

We will definitely come back here again. This place is clean the view of the golf course while dining was great. The service was exceptional and we had multiple options for where we wanted to sit upper or lower. They cooked my burger perfectly in my guest was happy with her chicken dish.

We were seated on the patio which was very comfortable with generous space around tables and a big umbrella to keep things shady. Magnificent views of the pastoral surroundings. Our server was delightful and my Manhattan with 3 cherries took the edge off the day. My chicken parm was among the best I’ve ever had, two pan fried breaded cutlets, tender as butter, and topped with high quality mozzarella and a mild tomato and basil sauce. My brothers Country Club looked real good too. May try that next time.

Food could have been better. Small portions. Steak tips were not medium rare and very small, about 1″ x 1/2″ if that.

Hidden gem. I’ve been here on several occasions and have never had a bad meal. The only thing is I miss the delicious tilapia dish on the old menu. Staff is always on point and friendly.

Merrill’s Tavern was always a go-to place for lunch and dinner, but I stopped in with a couple co-workers for breakfast and it was amazing! I tried the southwestern breakfast wrap after seeing photos of it on their website and it did not disappoint. The servers were extremely friendly and polite to our whole party. Will definitely be coming back!

Great food and drink, a little expensive but good spot to watch a game and socialize after a round of golf

What fantastic food! We got a takeout order for our office on a super busy day, which included potato skins, tuna wontons, cheeseburgers, a fried fish sandwich, and a cobb salad. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. We are so close to Merrill’s, and yet for some reason we never think to eat there. But that will change, because the food was perfect. Thank you for a delicious feast on a crazy day!

Waitress was not attentive. Food not very hot or tasty. Sangria was lousy.
Sad that it was a miserable experience.

Since I was hungry and also wanted to take in the Masters in the company of people who are also golf fans I thought this would be the perfect place. Add the fact that I decided to play the course on a regular basis this year and the idea of mixing and mingling with folks who hang out there makes perfect sense.
I had 2 drinks and an overpriced salad but that’s OK as I expected both to be on the high $ side. I had some conversation with another diner and then decided to pay and leave. I don’t usually even look at my check but I was a little curious and then surprised to see that they charged me for 3 drinks – not the 2 I actually received. That was fine as they corrected the bill, which I paid.
My conversation got interesting so I decided to stay and order another drink. I finished the 1 additional drink and when I picked up my check I was astonished to see that once again they were charging me for 1 more drink than I actually received.
I pointed out the error but they refused to adjust the check properly. Ordinarily I would have stood up for what was right but in this case I just paid the bill and left with a very bad taste in my mouth. My impression is that overcharging at Merrill’s Tavern is a common practice. Too bad because I would have become a regular there and now I’m not sure I want to patronize the golf course either. It’s entirely possible that deliberate overcharging runs rampant throughout the entire facility.
