My husband made a reservation here for my 70th birthday. We arrived on time and our table was ready — decorated with rose petals and confetti. The wait staff saw to our every need. The food was superb. But, wait, there’s more! Birthday cake! I wasn’t expecting that and it, too, was delicious.

The food was simply top notch in this classy environment. We had a wonderful young man wait on us, I believe his name was Brendan. Very polite and helpful in helping us select our wonderful entree. The martinis were excellent and live the calming decor . We will definitely be back

Had a 6pm reservation, appetizers came pretty quick but then service just went down from there. We had a party of 8 but it took 2 hours for us to receive our food. We had another reservation for 8:15 and we ended up paying for our food before it even arrived. No discount offered or anything. What little food we did get to eat before getting boxes was good but the service was very disappointing for a birthday.

Hidden gem, we went tonight and loved the atmosphere and food. We had a ton of appetizers half price during happy hour. We had satay, egg rolls, corn cakes, dragon fire dumplings plus the cheese and crab rolls. All were in point. My beautiful bride was not overly wild over the corn cakes. They were good not great but EVERYTHING else was superb. The peanut sauce was amazing. We will be back for entrees. Can’t wait to try the Panang Curry. Pedro and Desiree did an amazing job taking care of us. Atmosphere is amazing. We will be back.

this used to be the best restaurant in Seabrook but as of about a year ago it is not anymore. I think the owner/chef died and the food quality is just suffered tremendously since then but the prices have stayed the same which are high.
when the food was in tip top shape under the previous chef/owner the prices were absolutely worth it. everything was delicious. now I would skip it also, this restaurant has an identity crisis because it’s main dining area surrounds the bar area in sort of a horseshoe configuration and on the weekends especially at night. the bar area tries to be like a nightclub with strobing lights and very loud music too loud to dine and have a conversation and the ambiance of the dining area suffers because of it

Merlion is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel right at home. The service is attentive without being overbearing, and everything comes out fresh and beautifully presented.
The food is outstanding—full of authentic Thai flavor, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, from rich curries to perfectly seasoned noodles, and the spice level was spot-on. You can tell a lot of care goes into each plate.

Our server was Maze and she was very knowledgeable about the menu, and made the whole experience wonderful. The food was amazing, my favorite was the goat cheese salad. I’m looking forward to coming back! Maze convinced us to come for Restaurant month in August. Can’t wait!

This was our first time to visit. Our server, Maze was phenomenal!! I’d come back just to interact with her, but luckily, the food was just as outstanding!! Bryan also came by our table outside, another top notch employee!! And they have a reverse happy hour. Clay was behind the bar and took care of our after dinner libations.
