I didn’t have any coffee before leaving the house. This place was close by and easy to walk to. It is a quaint little coffee shop that sits by itself. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant to talk with while getting my coffee.
There were so many ways to get your drink, it was overwhelming for my first visit. Since it was hot, I got an Iced Irish Cream Coffee. They had some pastries, but I was walking around, so not a good idea.
It also had a cat theme as you could tell by all the decorations. There is a donation center setup for the local animal rescue. Outside on the small terrace area there where you can exchange plants.
It is a very cozy place with some seating inside and out. I heard a customer say that his wife dropped him off there because it was his ‘adult daycare center’
If you need a coffee and pastry off the main road, stop here. It is quiet and a nice little oasis away from the chaos.

Watered-down coffee/espresso. Tasted like there was literally none in our lattes. Maybe food is better, but both lattes tasted like water, sugar, and a little bit of cream. Service was good. Atmosphere very cute and eclectic, but I truly can’t recommend the coffee at all.

Great little place in Hanover, PA. Cozy atmosphere and so many things to look at. They are very much into animal rescue, which is a huge plus for us. They have a huge selection of coffee beans they will grind for you to take home. I got a Toffee Topper with almond milk, and it was awesome. Hubby chose the Drunken Mocha. We each had a pastry. I’m not sure if they are baked here, but good nonetheless. There was only one table inside but she said next time the tables would be back. There is plenty of seating outside. Nice little spot.

Quirky little neighborhood coffee shop in the back streets of Hanover. Stopped off with my boss for an iced coffee and sat outside on the patio to drink it. Good coffee and a pleasant atmosphere. Will visit again to try their food offerings. As we were leaving, the owner donated a case of soup crackers to the New Hope food pantry. Recommended!

Very friendly atmosphere, cozy with 3 tables for dine-in, large selection of flavored syrups and coffee varieties. The sandwiches looked delicious.

Another great Coffee shop in Hanover PA! (Went after the second half of my disc golf tournament at Codorus got called for thunderstorms) Merlin’s Coffee, cat themed (but no actual cats, we asked and sadly there used to be but apparently someone complained…) The lady there was delightful, and the Coffee was absolutely fantastic. (I absolutely wanted to order a second one to go… Lol) they sell whole (or ground to order) beans in a couple dozen flavors and locality) varieties. I wound up with a half lb of chocolate mint truffle and a half lb of chocolate raspberry. While there I had a delicious iced Nutty Irishman (hazelnut, Irish cream, chocolate) and my partner had a hot Dirty Cat (Ovaltine and white chocolate) which I got to take a few sips of, both were really good! The pecan bun thingy (I forget the name) was super delicious too! Great shop!

The owner is very friendly, the decor is awesome, and everything tastes amazing. Dunkin has been my favorite coffee for a long time but this was way better. The owner randomly handed us a few samples of different drinks and everything tasted great.

Merlins coffee is an amazing gem and I’m so happy I stumbled across it during one of my random trips exploring Pennsylvania. They have over 20 different kinds of coffee beans in store that they roast themselves! You can literally smell the aroma while the coffee is getting roasted. The couple that own it are extremely friendly & good at what they do. They also help rescue cats & have their own pets. In fact the name Merlin comes from their cat! He is the CEO
