Merle’s is a hidden gem in Wilkesboro. The atmosphere is cool and the drinks are delicious. Kyle is an excellent mixologist and prepared the drinks perfectly. I had three drinks: Out of Office, Not from around here and the Merle’s Brûlée. My brother in law had asked for a mojito and Kyle picked the mint from their garden. I recommend you try them all. Will definitely go back when we are back in the area.

Merle’s exceeded all of my expectations tonight!! This quaint little cocktail bar was absolutely perfect and I am so happy it is right here in Wilkes! Whenever I travel, I love trying new foods and specialty cocktails are always something I seek out. They have perfected every drink on their menu and you can tell that they have poured so much time and energy into creating these gorgeous masterpieces (each drink is like a work of art ). It was honestly nice and reassuring to be able to go here and have a nice drink with friends, lounge around on a couch and feel like we could stay as long as we wanted. Definitely check it out ☺️❤️

Merle’s is a gem. It’s warm and welcoming atmosphere is top notch, while the cocktails are top tier! The ingredients they use really stand out like their house made syrups like hibiscus, lavender, and rose add an elegant touch, while candied ginger and charred lavender dance in your glass providing an experience this city has never seen. The outdoor aesthetic is as comfortable as functional, with an outdoor walkup bar that will prove to be a stunner in the warm months. We need this place. Support them! #meetmeatmerles

Didn’t have any food, killing time and stopped in for a beverage . Friendly service (didn’t get names), and the mezcal old fashioned was like sipping a sweet citrus flavored campfire. Very good, wish I would’ve had time to stay for another.
