A very nice, lowkey establishment. I went in on a Wednesday around 3PM. There were a few gentlemen sitting at the bar watching the football game. I sat down and the bar tender walked right over and was very kind. I ordered the boneless buffalo wings, pretzel, and mozzarella sticks. They were fantastic. They do not give small portions! The pool tables and dart boards are a nice touch. I really liked that they were not in the main bar area.

Laid-back local bar scene – they’ll quickly know you by name! Great selection of bourbons and other liquors with generous pours. The old-fashioned is strong and get sweeter to the end with the muddled luxardo cherries and orange. One of the best I’ve had in the area. Cheeseburger had a fantastic grilled flavor, fresh and crispy lettuce, onion and ripe tomato with a tangy pickle. Large, fresh, and delicious. Fries are generously straight cut and crispy. Pool table is reasonably priced, along with darts, and one duck pin bowling lane, and a basketball hoop. Fun place to get together with friends!

Looks like your average hole in the wall bar, but it’s not! My hubby and I decided to try this place out after several of people we know posted on Facebook about the place. We went in around 6pm thinking we would stay an hour or so and have a beer…we didn’t leave until around midnight. The beer on tap is ice cold, the food is amazing, the customer service can’t be beat, and there is so much to do! We played pool, darts, shuffle board and shot some hoops in the back room. They have a pinball machine, and a vintage bowling machine. After playing a few games we were hungry so we ordered some garlic parmesan wings, a burger, and some onion rings not expecting much….expect the unexpected. The food was delicious! Best wings ever!! Don’t take my word for it though. Stop in and see for yourself!

Listen to me….I went to Markels Tavern today, and I can’t believe how good the food was, how friendly the service was, and how great the atmosphere was.
They have one of the longest bars I’ve seen in a bar. Lol there also sits a few booths for the folks that don’t want to sit at the bar, and the other side features 2 pool tables, like 7 dart boards, a small bowling table, a basketball game…and there’s a few other games on the game side.
Oh yea, there are about 25 tvs in this spot. The food is good, the atmosphere is great, the service is awesome!
I can’t wait to go back!

Was in the area and needed a quick bite and a beer. Pics say it all. Cool joint, bigger inside than I thought. Was quiet but I was an off time of the day. Pinball and some cool stuff. Would swing by again for sure at a time when it might be a bit more lively. Suspect it’d be fun!

We’re new in the area we’ve made here 5 times all we have tried is the club wings and the burger we’ve been getting the food to go absolutely awesome. Cannot speak highly enough. I really wish they’d add a few more items of food because they have great qwaldy. I would like to eat something else there. Because they would do a really great job with it

They have FLASH-O-MATIC BOWLING!!! So fun! Plus lots of dart machines and pool tables. 20oz Bells Two Hearted was $8 so nothing great there… lots of TVs to watch sports. Loooooong bar to sit at.
