I was really excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews. Ordered the sample platter, which was pretty good, although less food than I’ve had at other restaurants.
While the food was good and the service was fairly friendly, the main issue I have is with the practice of bringing out additional food that seemed like it was comped, only to be charged for things we didn’t originally order. Just take a note of that cultural practice that I wasn’t aware of.

Took my parents here to try Ethiopian food for the first time. Really great experience, the service was really friendly and the food was amazing. They were able to make the tibs, dry tibs, and vegetable sampler not spicy. The dry tibs was especially so good, coming out sizzling and so tasty with the injera bread. Overall a great dinner and will definitely be back.

First time trying Ethiopia food. We (2 people) ordered the meat and veggie platter. Everything thing on this plate was delicious and flavorful and be both we’re stuffed.

The food is awesome! I ate two varieties and they are both top notch. If you want a fast food, this the best. They didn’t even take 10min to serve.
The veg combo is top notch! I haven’t seen a better veg combo in Dallas area. Don’t waste your money on Desta and and Sheba’s veg combo. This is way better!

Food was delicious. Had the injera with beef. The lentils on the place were my favorite. Having this combination is a mouthful of flavor that you have to try at least one time. It’s a great find here in Murphy and authentic Ethiopian cuisine.
