The thai basil fried rice was Really good too. So flavorful!!!!
Merit Vegan Restaurant
Merit Vegan sets itself apart from many vegetarian restaurants by offering dishes with distinct, creative flavors instead of the same plain taste over and over. That alone makes it worth a visit, and explains why it’s often crowded.
But flavor isn’t everything. The biggest disappointment here is value. Portions are very small—most dishes feel like “diet-sized” single-person servings—yet the prices are higher than the generous, family-style plates you’d find elsewhere. A single dish often leaves you unsatisfied, so expect to order at least two plates or spend $35+ per person just to feel full.
For a restaurant built around vegetables, soy, and tofu, the pricing feels steep and at times unjustifiable. The food is good, but when you leave still hungry after paying a premium, it’s hard not to feel shortchanged.
If Merit Vegan improved portion sizes or lowered prices, it could deliver a truly fulfilling experience. Until then, it remains a place known for flavor, but not for value.
One standout item was the avocado shake—absolutely awesome! Creamy, perfectly sweet, and refreshing. It’s a must-try and really elevated the whole meal.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was calm, clean, and welcoming. The staff made sure we were comfortable without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed dining experience.
Prices are reasonable given the quality, and the variety of dishes makes it easy to find something for every palate. Whether you’re a longtime vegan or just curious, Merit Vegan delivers a delicious and satisfying experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu when I’m back in this area.
Tons of variety. Like, the kind of menu where you stare at it for 10 minutes thinking, am I hungry or just emotionally unprepared to make a decision?
Had the spicy noodle soup before fantastic. Fresh spring rolls? Honestly hard to beat. But this time I went for the house special rice clay pot and it blew me away. Full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and straight-up comfort food for the soul.
Also tried the BBQ gluten vermicelli refreshing and super flavorful. Doesn’t even feel like “vegetarian food,” it just tastes good.
Showed up on a Saturday around 2pm thinking I could sneak in between the lunch rush…absolutely wrong. The place was packed. But for good reason.
This is definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to just to explore the menu. Every dish feels like a new main character.
The only reason I go here is because my family members are vegetarian. It seems like a decent restaurant as it has been filled up almost every time I go here. Personally I am not a fan and wouldn’t go back on my own will.
Today we came in right when it opened for dinner at 4:30pm. Friendly staff, okayish food, and vegetarian cuisine.
