This place is a joke. Decided (dont know why) to place an order here.. WTH was I thinking. Not only did the pizza fries and garlic bread with cheese arrive cold. Fries were almost as brown as me and im hispanic. Pizza was like something out of a stop and shop freezer.
so food arrives and like always, food was less than $30 and the driver shows up with no change. Same bs that used to go on with the delivery drivers there before, It is ur job to habe change when the customer clearly says they are paying with cash. Then they dont give you the exact price when you call its oh your order is somewhere around $30. So on top of the food being cold and tasting like crap the delivery drivers think they are slick. I dont recommend this place at all, lesson learned. Wont get another dime of my hard earned money…Pictures were taken as soon as the food came inside, cheese on pizza all dried up, you can tell its cold. Fries smelled and tasted like old oil.. Garlic bread saturated in oil..

I order a cheese pizza, they told me it was ready in 5minutes. I went to pick it up and I got an old and cold pizza that I had to throw out because they wouldn’t answer their phone so I can get a new one or a refund. If you didn’t have the time to make a new pizza, then you could have said you didn’t have any rather than giving me an old cold bad pizza. Do not recommend this place very unprofessional.

from soggy Philly cheese steak told cold and over oiled fries , customer service was completely fos they said they couldn’t contact restaurant for a refund but assured me the restaurant said my sandwich wasn’t soggy which it was, and disgusting

They were very busy when I called! Was put on hold for several Minutes before I hung up and ordered from slice! Got a plain pizza and boneless chicken wings!
The pizza was greasy and chewy! But had an ok flavor! The chicken was my real issue! It was straight grease! We were able to salvage a couple of pieces on top the rest was too greasy to eat! Would I order from here again!? I’m not sure!

Placed a delivery order online. Used the option for giving instructions to the driver and provided my cell #, asking that a call be made so I could go outside and pick up the pizza. After 90 mins (25 mins past the estimated delivery time), I called the store and was told that the pizza was delivered to a lady at the door. I explained that I am home and was awaiting a call or text, and was put on hold, but ultimately disconnected. I figured out that the delivery went to the wrong house. I called back to say that the instructions weren’t followed, the order was delivered wrong, and while I had eventually gotten the pizza, it was ice cold. The response I received was, “OK great. Thanks” and I was hing up on..

In addition, as I went to eat a slice of my cold pizza, I noticed a strong sweet smell that resembled maple. I assume the bacon on my meat lovers pizza was a maple bacon, and not traditional bacon. I despise maple, and rechecked the menu. Nowhere does it state the use of a maple product.

Not only VERY disappointed by the entire transaction, but insulted by the hang up, and quick dismissal as if it were my fault or that I was pulling a con! A simple read of the delivery instructions (that they ask for!) would have avoided the delivery mistake.. but also, in combination, clearer descriptions in the menu would not have resulted in 90 mins of wasted wait time, and $35 of pizza being tossed in the trash.

Disappointing since I make it a point to support local business.

I’m so disappointed!! I ordered more than $50 of food and in the order was a COLD Roast Beef grinder. The grinder I received in that order was not roast beef it was on the bread cooked and salty. I called and they argued about it and finally rectified the problem with 15% off next order. Okay I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again last night another $60 order. Same COLD ROAST BEEF GRINDER. They refused to honor the 15% off from the previous order but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and what I got couldn’t even compare to beef jerky!! The meat was black burnt and hard. There’s no way it was edible. I called because it was delivered as I have no transportation and they hung up on me twice. Very unprofessional and obviously serving the community garbage. I don’t know how they’re still in business. Eating out is not cheap anymore and they’re just robbing people blind. So never again for me. I pray they make a change for their businesses sale. I had to give it 1 star just to leave a review they don’t even get 1/2 of a star from me!

For the last few years, as if every years feels as well is it is to remember every experience in town in and out of town for the sake of the community.., the townsfolk,…the family that require high quality at a great price and yet, high value to that which is most families effort. There is a place, Meriden Pizza Express with Express pizza. A palace of grand expression to indicate to anyone who eats there that value comes within. And those seeking a delicious boardwalk downtown in Meriden that has a specific taste of Italy among the other tradesman, a delicious bakery next door, a music office and quite a many community offices, facilities, churches and everything nearby lacks no sense of hope. There is, has been, and is going to be there where the history meets the ever growing team among us all. Meriden pizza Express, expresses that hope is in their industry a place where everyone can experience Italy, polish, Spanish,and Arabian source to a unified passion. And I Hope you will will seek there from time time to time. Love you all and enjoy the love that Meriden pizza Express consistently pumps out.

Very disappointed. This was my favorite pizza place around. Always a thin crispy crust and even the top was crispy. I called today for an extra large pie without knowing they had that. When I asked the guy on the phone about it and he said they have XL I was excited. He said that the large had 8 slices and the XL had 12 Slice. However when I got my delivery nor only was the weight of the box odd (it was very light) made me wonder if there was a pizza in the box besides that it was the same size box as the large. And when I went inside and opened the box it looked the same as a large they just made more slices. Every slice was just thinner and every slice was a different size. I’m an executive chef and I knew right off the back I was cheated just from the weight of the box. They definitely used the same dough as alarge and tried to stretch it out as much as they could and called it an extra large. They just lost a customer as sad as it sounds. I always tip well 15-20% and now I have to look for a different place. I understand the hard times but cheating a loyal well tipping customer is a big No No
