The cuisine here is exceptional. The oxtails are remarkably tender and flavorful, practically melting in your mouth, and come highly recommended. The rice and peas, cabbage, and baked macaroni were all delightful. This establishment offers excellent value for money , and portion size ( a little more mac would have been perfection ). I eagerly anticipate my next dining experience.

You order inside and take your food to the back. The food is fresh and they do not cheat on portion sizes. The jerk chicken was so tender and everything was flavorful. The cabbage was soft and didn’t have that earthy bitter taste.

The oxtails and collards were good. I’m a big potato salad eater, but it seems like an ingredient was missing. There was no room to sit or table. I didn’t appreciate the fact I ordered my food in advance.

The guy asked when i was coming and i told him 10 minutes. My order-was not ready. And i had to get behind an ongoing line on my lunch break. The staff move like a bunch sloths didn’t help. My first customer experience with them made me unhappy.

Been wanting to try this place put for a while! Been on multiple cruises so I love some Caribbean food! I heard people talking about the oxtails and how amazing they are so I tried them out for myself and they are delicious! They are big and tender and the sauce on the is sooo good! The place definitely has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere as well! Thinking about trying the curry goat next!

Friendly service, great food, the smell of the great food hits you as soon as you walk in. Just got their oxtails with Mac cheese n potato salad. Never had Jamaican food before until today and would absolutely recommend.

Third time visiting this establishment so here’s my first review…The staff isn’t friendly at all! You’re not greeted, no smiles on their faces, they all looked mad and it’s just an unwelcoming experience everytime I go there. The food is good except the rice. It was lumps of rice in both of my orders! Probably could’ve used a little more water and stirring.

Love Mercys down!!! However that rude lightskin thicker cashier in there is very rude. He doesn’t have a customer service bone in his body, his family must own the place. He doesn’t speak, he doesn’t try to be friendly at all. Then the young lady that was there today didnt even move to give me my drink. I never dealt with her but him he always have that I dont wanna be here attitude on him.

I went there today for the first time. The young lady at the register was very informative, cordial and polite. Of course, I ordered the oxtails, that’s how I gage my first time visit to a Jamaican restaurant. Especially when they claim the title as being the best. When I saw the variety of fruit juices that I’m accustomed to drinking AND they had Soursop, my tastebud guard went down. When I got home and my wife and I both tried the oxtails that were so soft they were falling off the bone, a bright light shined down over us in our living room and the Angels ooooed and aaaaawed their familiar tune. We couldn’t even finish our plates. We both had oxtails, peas and rice, Mac and cheese and collard greens. A nice amount of the oxtail gravy was strategically poured over the rice so my watering mouth would be satisfied. That’s our new spot and only spot for Authentic Jamaican food. We’ll be back.

In town for a family function and was on the hunt for some delicious eats when we came across this establishment. I travel all often and am always in the mood for some good Caribbean food. Truly, this place is up there with the best as everything was tasty. Keep in mind that the prices are a bit high, but the only near thing that I would change would be that they bit less seasoning in their greens, but overall, well worth a visit.

Best OXTAILS I’ve ever had. I live 75 miles away. I’ve been contemplating going back ever since I had them. It surely won’t be long before I return. I spent a little over $100 but the food was well worth it. It was enough food for me and three other people.
