Now a favorite place to eat in Pittsburgh Shadyside.
The wait was not bad, only about 30 minutes. Comfortable seating for a table of five. Certainly here for the pizza. Had high expectations based on recommendations and happy to say it did not disappoint!
Bottle of wine did push the bill a little higher than just pizza, but was not disappointed.
Pizza was appropriately sized for two people or an ambitious one. There were so many potions so had to try several different. The crust on the pizza was one of best ever had. Flavor was spot on and paired well with the many choices of toppings we choose.
Still saved room for Gelato, very happy with choice!

My favorite Neapolitan pizza in PGH! Great spot to enjoy good food, wine, and gelato with friends and family!

Never disappointed whether dining in or taking out

They sometimes have a pizza with pistachios—yumm! Such a great seasonal item on the menu I got to try

Staff and pizza bakers are super friendly!
It’s so beautiful to see them work as a family!

Very delicious pizza! We ordered the Pizza de Re and a panini for me and my boyfriend, with bruschetta as a starter. The bruschetta was nicely balanced with a pleasant sourness and very fresh tomatoes.

The server was friendly and recommended adding burrata to the pizza — a great suggestion that really elevated the dish. Would definitely come back!

Best pizza crust evah! Generous toppings and crew that is proud of what they serve.
Visiting from Cambridge (Boston) and will definitely recommend to anyone I know who would be going to Pittsburgh.
Bonus, gelato and sorbet options for dessert

So good! I went to lunch here on a Friday with about a 10 minute wait which was totally fine because it gave a little time to walk around at other cute shops that were around! Small dining space but layed out well and our food was ready very quickly. Pizza was amazing with very good quality ingredients. I got the pistachio and mortadella white pizza. I also got the salted caramel and death by chocolate and I preferred the chocolate but both were still really good. Will definitely be back again.

Good pizza . We had the Lasagna, Margherita with prosciutto, Margherita, and Fungi. They were all quite good! We will return. Too full to try the gelato but it looks good!

I got a steak and arugula pizza and it was phenomenal! The caprese salad was delicious as well. I couldn’t find my specific pizza listed online, but it was on the menu at the restaurant in shadyside. This place does get very busy inside, and thus can be difficult to navigate. The outdoor seating and atmosphere looked very pleasant, though.

I liked the margherita con bufala pizza. It was decent. The crust was moderately soft and well baked! I would probably prefer having more basil in it because it enhances the flavor. Also, the pizza tastes better with oregano sprinkled on it. Keep in mind this is the Neopolitan style pizza.
My server Amver was the best and amazing! Not a fan of the seating inside because it was kinda hot inside but it’s totally understandable with a small/medium space like that. Absolutely loved the Vanilla gelato and would 100% recommend that!! I asked them to add burrata on my pizza but I later realized it didn’t need that much cheese on it, so probably order the way it is! They have a beer menu as well which is separate.

Excellent pizza with exceptional customer service. Closest thing to Italy without being there. Ingredients are made in house and the taste shows. They also have a gluten free crust and it was excellent! And don’t forget about the Gelato that’s home made with many flavor choices. Stop in for pizza or Gelato or both. This place is a must go.

I’ve been here twice with my son. The pizza is great, the gelato is great, the service is great, the prices are reasonable. No notes.

Last time I was there they made a minor mistake with our order and we weren’t even going to say anything but the server heard us talking about it and fixed it in a flash (we got to take home the “mistake” pizza– thanks!)
