I absolutely love coming here. I was recommended this place when they were still over in Beckley off Merchants road, since moving to their current location in Beaver I had not had a chance to visit yet. I finally travelled back through the area and was able to stop by. The vibes are great, Derrick was awesome, super friendly and it’s always a great conversation. I tell all my coworkers and friends about this place. The prices are great for what you are getting. Can’t wait to try the pizza the next time I come through.

This is definitely a MUST STOP for me and my family when we travel through.

Highly recommend to everyone to stop by and eat at Merchants!

We stopped here for a quick lunch on a trip back to Virginia. It was just what we wanted. The young woman who took our order was so friendly and helpful – such a welcoming enthusiastic attitude The sandwiches were delicious with generous portions and high quality meat! They were fast and open on Sunday – another plus!

This place has a great selection of Deli sandwiches and meats ,cheese. I had the pastrami on swrl Rye, it was great ,stacked high with meat and cheese.The menu has over 20 sandwich selections .We also took home a pound of all beef franks that were very tasty. We will be back.

We had REALLY good sandwiches here, and met the very friendly folks who work there (Jason, Chris, and a really nice young woman whose name I didn’t get.) To be fair, the atmosphere isn’t really 5 stars, because it’s not trying to be that sort of place. But it’s very clean and was just fine for grabbing a sandwich or eating a pizza. I was impressed with the freshness of the roll our huge hot Italian sub came on, and with the quality and quantity of the meats, cheese and peppers on it. We will definitely remember to stop here when we pass through again.

My mom and I visited the restaurant yesterday. We had never been. It was amazing. Bryan took time to explain the different sandwiches. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, there was so much meat on it. It melted in my mouth. My mom ordered the Ruben sandwich and it was loaded with corned beef. The staff was great. I definitely recommend this restaurant .

They have the BEST FRESHEST LUNCH MEATS HERE! I’m Italian and I was surprised at the quality of their products especially the FRESHLY SLICED Mortadella, Prosciutto, Suprosata, Genoa Salami, Capicola, Ham, Pepperoni, etc. AND their loaves of Italian breads were delicious and fresh.
Add a fresh salad to that Sandwich you make and Fuggettaboutit!
I was referred here by my friends in Glade Springs and it was a great help and experience when planning an Italian Hoagie weekend dinner with friends.
