WOW. Must stop and dine! Stopped by on my way to Tampa and was glad I did. During my travels, I like to google the area to see if any Filippino restaurants are in the area. Kissimmee has a few but no need to check out the others because I found this little gem and it was so good. Mind you, I did read the reviews prior, but I’m biased and know this world is filled with Karens. Give them a chance like I did. Had the Pancit Bihon and Lumpia and it was authentic. All Reasonably priced, plenty of dining space for such a lil market and order was fresh! Be sure to shop the market area. They offer baked goods, but get there early has it goes fast. I found items I used while I lived in the Philippines. I only live about 50 minutes away on the Space Coast, I will make the drive once and awhile to dine.

I needed a new spot for filipino anything and I found this gem with a little bit of research. I love how quaint and cozy the place is, it’s like a tienda, small store with the option of dining in. It feels just like home as they have that authentic touch to it. I love it and definitely will come here to dine in next time. Pinoy pride ❤️

I was a little disappointed on this last visit. I came in looking for some Filipino baked goods and to my surprise they didn’t have much available. I usually look for pan de sal and pan de coco but none was available. In fact, there was hardly any fresh baked goods that day. We did not eat- in that day for we were not hungry at the time. Yes, this store is also a restaurant and you can order off their menu. Food here is good! Baked goods, when available is also good. That’s why I was a little disappointed when I did not find any! Btw…we live in Maine and we always look forward to visiting Mercel’s every time we go down to Kissimmee. Maybe we just stopped by the wrong day….who knows?

Update (10/5/24): Visited Mercel’s again and this time it was much better than our last visit. The store was well stocked (full). We were able to find everything we were looking for. We even decided to order some ulam from their menu. We ordered BBQ and fried tilapia. On top of that, we also bought some pan de sal, pan de coco among other things.

Nice little Filipino store that seems to have a little bit of everything. They also serve up fresh Filipino food! I only came today to get a couple of shipping boxes. This seems to be a normal thing for the Filipina to ship items from here back to Philippines.

We left the Kabayan rest. And found this one Marcell bakery. The moment we walk in this lady is very polite and respectful and she greet us. That was very nice of her. We sat down and the lady gave us menu and she said help out self to get our drinks. The Atmosphere was acceptable not loud and she is very professional. While we waiting for our order I can hear her talking to other Filipino customers she is so respectful she call everyone Auntie. which is Tita in Tagalog and Tito which is Uncle… Oh that was so nice to hear something like that..She also call me Auntie.Lol..and call JD tito 🙂 .The food was great. My husband really like the Sinigang pork with vegetables and the Lumpia (egg Roll) I order Pinakbit and lechon kawali..I don’t eat lechon kawali because is alot of fat but I figured I just want to taste them. Is not bad at all. I gave them 5 stars because the service was great also the food. Thank you Marcell. We are going back there again in the future. I would recommend this place.. Yum.

Great little store that also cooks filipino food and bakes as well. Fresh pandesal is the best when its hot. The old man there can cook!

Not a traditional restaurant. Your kind of seen whenever and have to ask to be seated because it’s primarily a grocery store that happens to serve food if you ask.
