Had the chicken cutlet sandwich on toasted focaccia and it was outstanding. Already making plans to come back to try the other sandwiches on their menu, as well as their lasagna. Great location right on the water and everyone was so friendly. Their cannoli is fantastic and the best I’ve found in Bellingham.

During a recent visit to Bellingham we decided to try this place for lunch. The menu was much more comprehensive than we initially anticipated and everything looked and smelled great. We ended up getting the smokehouse sandwich, the caprese sandwich and some mini canoli. This place has both the best canoli and best focaccia either of us has ever had. Absolutely incredible crust and filling on the canoli and the focaccia was expertly baked, with a slight crunch to the crust. We will be back to Bellingham just to visit this gem. 10/10, fantastic job. The only down side is we bought two full-size canoli to go and forgot them at the restaurant. Another good reason to return because we can’t stop thinking about how good they were!

I’ve been a fan of this “Market of Goodness” for quite some time. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing – the best in the PNW. Lunch sandwiches are delicious. Do yourself a favor and order a specialty sandwich that is served on focaccia bread – it will make you happy! We finally made it in for dinner, last Thursday, and again, it was exceeded expectations! We started with the Caprese salad, served with focaccia bread – delicioso! Our entrees were Lasagna (northern Italian style) which was fantastic, the spinach lasagna noodles were cooked to perfection, and the bolognese sauce was superb! The second entree that was ordered was the gnocchi Alla Romana, with Alfredo sauce and it was absolutely delicious! We felt most welcomed and we felt as if we were transported to a wonderful trattoria in Italia! Make it a point to try this gem of Bellingham, it is a special gem of a spot in Bellingham! Graze!

The capo sandwich is the best sandwich I’ve ever had – no joke. My partner had a roast beef sandwich and I believe his words were “I’m going to remember this sandwich “. The focaccia is homemade and meat and cheese are sliced to order. So good! The owners are very friendly, prices are fair, and there is lots of space to hang out. Can’t wait to go back!

I grew up on the East Coast and since I’ve moved to Bellingham I haven’t been able to find a sandwich shop that’s worth visiting. Mercato Della Bonta is just what this town needed. A true deli with the best hot and cold sandwiches on the tastiest focaccia made in house. The sandwiches are perfectly stacked with fresh sliced meats and the owners are the quintessential Italian east coasters. As an itialian from the Boston area, it feels like I’m home when I’m there. If you haven’t been yet- GO!

Yup, it’s worth the hype. The quality is top tier. And the sandwiches are so massive you can share it with someone. Pictured: half of a “Star of the Show”— delicious, salty, buttery. The coffee was okay, hoping they improve on that front.

The Best Sandwiches I have had in town ! Fresh ingredients every time. Beach Vibes (hot) and the caprese are both excellent. I look forward to trying more of the menu.
