Paella catalana was very good, but the croquettes stole the show. The small paella is big enough for two and their tapas are pretty generous in size. Overall it’s a good restaurant for a hotel.

Large Spanish restaurant with good ambience and service. The taps are made to order and delicious. The patatas bravas are nicely spiced as is the gambas al ajillo – make sure to get the bread to dip in the garlic sauce! The sangria is OK, no fruit that is found in a typical sangria. The Paella is a nice dish but could have used a bit more added flavor.

Great little spot if you are staying at the Blackstone. Good breakfast and I recommend the eggs Benedict.

45 minutes waiting for an octopus. Wine arrived after the first appetizer arrived. Poor quality for a “pan con tomate” unbelievable. Octopus the only great dish

Service was a little rough. Bartender was a little rough around the edges, but he did make a great drink and the food was worth it.

Excellent tapas. Interesting and tasty drinks. An attractive space. If you get a window table, it’s a nice view of the park. And check out the Blackstone’s lobby. It’s very moderne.

Pan con tomate was too vinegary, paella negra was too salty, the only good dish was chuletas. The lamb chops came with nice minty sauce with pureed beans, not too overwhelming. Definitely overpriced. The waiter told us to order 2-3 dishes per person. If we followed his suggestion, we would have spent more than $50 per person, which I don’t think is worth for the experience.

This was my first tapas experience and the flavors were amazing! Every single member of the staff was intent on making sure our dining experience was perfect. The view through the huge windows of the park on a stormy day was so enjoyable while taking our leisurely time nomming such treats.
