Mercado’s was very inviting with dining areas to accommodate large groups to more intimate settings. Natalie, our server, was pleasant and extremely helpful. Knowledgeable about the menu and the entres, she had great recommendations. The entry, dining areas, and bathroom were clean and well attended. Each part of our order was cooked perfectly. Every entre was prepared with its own seasoning which gave a new experience to each item. The taco, enchilada, and tortilla soup stood out from others that you may get from so many Mexican restaurants. Bravo, Mercado’s!

This has been a true staple of TEXMex in Tyler. I wish they still had the ice cream machine when you left. Their beef fajitas over the years has gone down a little bit because of the cut of meat, but it’s still pretty dang good. Tortillas made on site you can even watch them press them. Our waitress was new, but very polite and on point. Again, bring back the ice cream machine!!

Went on a Sunday afternoon and they were not busy at all. Concierge told us it would be a minute. Well it turned into twenty of them to seat 6 of us. There were more than plenty of visible empty tables but they were trying to keep all patrons confined to one small section. Table we got was too small for 6 people and I felt I was trying to eat on the corner with my plate half hanging off it while trying not to elbow one of my sons in the ribs. Food was mediocre. Waitress was attentive. Maybe it was not typical of what usual visits would be like but it might be awhile before I give them another try. Too many other choices for Mexican food in town to go to.

We stopped in for lunch on Christmas Eve and had such a great experience. The restaurant has a relaxed, casual vibe. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. What really made our visit special was our waitress, Madison—she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome, even on a busy holiday. Her excellent customer service truly stood out and added to an already enjoyable meal

This place is hit or miss depending on who’s cooking that day… We’ve had the enchiladas be outstanding then came back a couple of days later or the next week and be completely the opposite…. Some of the waitresses could handle food better and present themselves better…. But when they’re on they’re really good..

My family and I went to eat here and the food was not good. Also gave little to no meat in their tacos.I zoomed in just to make it look a little fuller, but in person no meat. My brother in law had a toothpick in his food. which he bit into and hurt the inside of his cheek. Service was not that well either. The waitress had an attitude about the food when was told it was wrong.I would not recommend this place at all.
