What a great little place, very authentic, so much, that it is the reason i give the food a four. As with my experience of Mexican food, in Mexico, some of the meats are very fatty and other will have bone in it. This common and enjoyed by some of my native Mexican friends. The rest of the dishes are amazing and worth a visit. Try the mini tacos at $1.99 ea. or take some meat home from the fresh meat market. for sale you may also enjoy spices and fruit from the small but packed store.

This place has been a favorite of mine for years. Under new ownership with a new name. New owners have done improvements to make the place nicer. And the food is as good as ever. The atmosphere is nothing fancy but who cares when they have best tacos in town. Fresh and hot and the wait is less than 5 minutes .Most times I get the tacos.fajita beef or sometimes the al pastor, carnitas or a Torta, which is huge .There’s a salsa bar with has eight different salsas and a lot of other toppings. Including hard to find authentic, spicy pickled onions .If you haven’t tried this place, you’re really missing out.

Friendly, clean, and super food. This is real Mexican food, so no french fries, taquitos, or crunchy tacos. They have a tasty and spicy salsa bar that includes pickled onions! Delicious. Hubby loved the beef street tacos, the tortas and gorditas are also wonderful. They sell the seasoned uncooked meat by the pound as well as cooked by the pound, so so awesome!
Went back and it was still delicious, still terrific, and I had the carnitas platillo which was soooo good, my new favorite!

Very good street tacos! Especially when the steak is tender with sauteed onions. Great Gorditas. Love the fresh corn tortillas! My family or I pick up lunch at least once or twice a week.

Svc is great and the tacos are delicious i highly recommend getting food from here i even tried the menudo but i am picky and it was good but I’m not crazy about their menudo but everything else is just delicious and tacos are huge so are the gorditas tortillas handmade while preparing your food..

I felt as if I were stepping into a Mexicali B.C. tienda y taceria (store and taco shop) from my childhood. Their menu is extensive, and you can order prepared Mexican meats (by the lb) to go. Bring your own drink if you want something iced.
I ordered the barbacoa torta and the boss lady had two beef tacos. They were very tasty! The salsa bar is jammed packed with amazing salsas and various condiments; the orange one (which I suspected as having habaneros and carrotts) was spicy with a little sweetness. Free chips are not the best…but hey, they’re free.
We’ll definitely be back to try their other offerings.
