PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE !!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED I PROMISE! The whole breakfast set up would have been nice if they had actually kept food in the buffet. My family and I went to have a nice little valentine’s day family breakfast and so we thought a buffet would be a great idea! Well this one not so much we were there for a while and there was almost nothing the whole entire time! And we politely had told our waiter put concers and she assured us that she would say something and they would have it all stocked and ready to go and we sat there the entire time with only a few of the last little bits of things left in the trays and over picked. Literally had 1-2 small plates of food no where near $12.99 per person, we would have just ordered from the menus if it was like that. It seemed as if all of the servers were too concerned with who was getting the most flower bouquets and gifts from people who had brought them valentine’s gifts than giving any type of service. It really was disappointing and when trying to express concerns we get told that we were just trying to get our food for free when that was absolutely NOT the case at all. We just wanted the buffet experience we had paid for. If we knew it was going to be that way we would have definitely ordered off of the menu. I do not recommend this place because of how poor their customer service was! It was the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a restaurant and that host girl in the front is one rude brat!!

Great place to enjoy a very reasonably priced meal that includes soup and a salad bar. If you come early before 4 you can enjoy soup, salad and a sandwich of your choice for under $10

Came in for breakfast on Valentine’s Day with my kids. Table across from me was being very disruptive and yelling at the hostess complaining about the breakfast bar. But I had no complaints about it. Ive been coming here for months, never had a problem. Waitresses are always very sweet and handle these kinds of situations very well!!! People forget what kindness is (: if you want good food and friendly service stop at MENTOR AVE family restaurant!!!

This was the first time visiting. The inside appears to have been remodeled and looked nice.
The service was friendly and nice, however, never asked refills on drinks.
Food was terrible. We think it was just pulled from a box and microwaved. I
ordered the pork chop special and was hoping to get an actual pork chop, but instead two microwaved breaded pork patties.
Having a soup and salad bar is nice.

Just did brunch. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! Most warmers were empty. Food barely warm. Definitely needs to hire cooks that are qualified. The owner needs to check out Concord Famil

Jennifer waitress, did well, friendly and kept coffee coming along with extra napkins. Splenda was a knock off. Omelette was awesome, with the works omelette. Chose grits instead of home fries. Grits can’t be treated like cream of wheat. Needs less water, more thickness. Added salt, pepper, and butter. Everything was great otherwise. They had a breakfast buffet here with many choices including fruit, waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy.

Went about one on Wednesday. Not many people in the place, but no staff masked. Not great on Dec. 15, 2021. Food was good for what it is. Yep got the chicken fries steak and eggs. Eggs were done correctly steak was ok, more chopped than normal cubed, a mushroom omelet that was good. Issue… Hostess should look at customers and ask where they would like to sit especially if they move poorly. Closer is usually better. Anyway, the service was not good. Our server was dismissive at best then too busy talking behind the bar to bring our toast out and forgot the juice, then she disappeared at the end. She alone forced the 3 star rating.
Also, how many of you would like a salad bar included in your afternoon or evening beeakfast? I know I would and it would not hurt food cost at all. Just a thought.

Been to this Restaurant many times for the Breakfast buffet. Arrived at 7:35. Buffet was clearly already set up. Waitress told us it did not begin until 8. No effort on her part for us to remain. Simply “I’m sorry”. We always tip 50% of the tab. Her loss. Will not be back.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant since it was in it’s old location in Mentor and it’s my number one spot for breakfast! I just tried the sausage gravy and biscuits today for the 1st time and it was awesome just like their home fries , pancakes and my favorite burger , The Mentor Avenue burger which is loaded with stuff on it ! The fries are always crispy , like they are coated . And my favorite waitress is V. She treats you like family and we love her ! You don’t find waitresses like her anymore, and I would know. I was in food management for most of my working life.
