Had an amazing lunch at Mensho at Westgate! I ordered the Duck Matcha Ramen, my girlfriend had the Spicy Kani Ramen, and my daughter tried the Original Ramen. Every single bowl was absolutely out of this world.
The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The Duck Matcha had a unique depth you don’t find just anywhere, the Spicy Kani brought just the right kick, and the Original was classic perfection.
Fantastic dining experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to return!

We started our meal off with Enoki Chips these were crispy salty with a little bit of spice. We order two types of ramen the CLASSIC with Egg added and the G.K.O. both had very good broth that was full of flavor. The noodles were also very good. I highly recommend adding the egg it gave the dish very good flavor the yolk was amazing. The garlic flavor from the G.K.O. was very intense. A garlic lover should definitely try this dish! We finished the meal with a Matcha Pudding. Check out this place The staff is awesome The decor is very appealing but the food is amazing!

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while, and we were out celebrating a special occasion and thought this place would be perfect. I was correct. This was absolutely the best ramen I’ve ever had. The broth is INCREDIBLE. The marinated eggs are delicious and definitely recommend adding them. For some reason they gave me 2 eggs and my bf only 1 even tho we both ordered 1 lol I thought that was weird but I guess they just gave me an extra one. With it being a Saturday it was surprisingly not super busy, we got sat with a 5 min wait on the patio. I will say, I would have rather sat inside because they were playing very loud live music next door, and there were open seats inside and another couple got sat right away inside right after us so that was strange because I don’t think they do reservations. When we come back I will for sure make sure we get seated inside because the atmosphere is much better inside. The service is okay, but the food absolutely makes up for these small issues. I will definitely be coming back, maybe to try the downtown location next time.

This place was AMAZING! A quaint and authentic tic vibe with large seating areas that are shared with other families. Don’t be shy!! Their nigiri was SO FRESH and delicious! Ramens very unique I. Type and taste everything was so delicious and tender or crispy as it needed to be. Zero complaints. Definitely coming back! Their service was wonderful. Not overbearing but every time they saw the table they would refill drinks from containers in table and always asked how things are or if we needed anything. Love this place. They great every customer as a whole unit and say goodbye each time!

We checked out the new Mensho location at Westgate and it absolutely lived up to our past experiences. This is our third Mensho visit in Arizona, and the consistency across locations continues to impress.
My wife ordered the Tokyo Chaccha-Kei, which delivered exactly what you want from that style—rich, savory broth with great depth and balance. Our friend went with the Spicy Kani Miso, and it had a bold, flavorful kick without overwhelming the crab-forward umami. I chose the G.K.O (Garlic Knockout), and the name truly fits—intense garlic flavor, creamy broth, and incredibly satisfying from the first bite to the last.
To finish things off, we had the Matcha Pudding Latte for dessert, which was a perfect closer—smooth, lightly sweet, and balanced, without being overpowering.
The quality, presentation, and attention to detail were spot on, just like we’ve come to expect from Mensho. The biggest win is that this Westgate location is much closer to home for us, which means we’ll definitely be back more often. Highly recommend for any ramen fan looking for top-tier bowls in the area.

Hands down the best quality food I’ve ever had. The uni straight from Japan was unreal — pure flavor explosion. Our server was so attentive and explained every ingredient, which made the whole experience even better. We came in just for ramen and somehow ended up ordering half the menu And don’t even get me started on the matcha pudding… absolute perfection.

This place have won multiple awards for best ramen and I finally understood why. Their ramen is not your typical common taste. Its so savory, the broth is rich and creamy and the flavors just go so well together. The taste was so exquisite it was definitely unforgettable. The karaage was also very good. Definitely the best place to go if you’re craving gourmet ramen.

I can really appreciate a good bowl of ramen. Mensho gave me just that. I ordered a peach blackberry cider. It was nice seeing a larger hard cider selection compared to a lot of other places I looked at as someone from the PNW. I went with the aji fry for my appetizer. It was a very delicious fish to me, I really enjoyed the crunch of the fry on it as well. For my bowl of ramen I went with the signature bowl. I first sipped the broth before digging in. The broth was light with a thick flavor that enveloped my tongue. A strong flavor profile with a depth that made me want to keep sipping it. I sat at their bar area and the atmosphere was on point. I was checked on multiple times during my meal. It made me feel like I was really taken care of. It is does cost a little more than standard fare ramen but their commitment to locally sourced ingredients amd how everything tasted made it all worth it in my mind. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves ramen. There was the option for add on toppings to my bowl but I felt the portion sizes of my bowl and app left me feeling satisfied. The staff had a few cake is they would make. I want sure what for but it added to the atmosphere for me.

They open at noon, so we made sure to get here a little early on a Tuesday to avoid the wait. This location is sized right in between the Mesa and Phoenix spots, not tiny and crowded like Mesa, but not as big as Phoenix. The interior is bright and modern, and they have a cool round table in the middle of the restaurant. There’s also a sushi bar and an outdoor seating area.
Our server was nice and helpful. We ordered my favorite Aji Fish Tempura, Garlic Edamame, Classic Ramen with duck on the side, and their Matcha Latte Pudding. Everything was just as amazing as at the other locations, the broth is rich, the duck is tender, and the Aji Fish Tempura, just perfect!
And OMG, the Matcha Latte Pudding, first time trying it, and I love it! Not too sweet, with a perfect matcha flavor. I could honestly come back just for this.
