What an experience!

We entered an impeccably maintained establishment and were seated promptly upon arrival.

The true standout of the experience was the ramen. Each bowl showcased a deeply developed, richly layered broth, full of complexity and depth.

The expertly prepared cuts of meat accompanying the ramen added an additional dimension of flavor and refinement, elevating the dish as a whole.

While priced at a premium, the quality and execution more than justify the cost, making it a worthwhile dining experience.

We just discovered an authentic Ramen spot that just opened 5 months ago in Utah!

They import ingredients straight from Japan and focus on farm-to-bowl freshness, making their Ramen noodles daily.

Our waiter was Ryan and made some great suggestions. He was very personable and knew the menu very well.

We tried the Karaage, Japanese fried chicken with a sweet and spicy kick, and it was a game-changer .

The A5 Wagyu Niku sushi was a highlight, with the same quality and taste as we experienced in Japan.

We ordered the A5 Wagyu Garlic Niku, it was fantastic.

My wife ordered the Duck Matcha Ramen and I ordered the G.K.O. Ramen, if you love garlic this is the Ramen to order. They were both unique and absolutely delicious.

This place is now a top pick for us and Ramen lovers. I strongly suggest arriving early for lunch because tables are limited. It would be worth the wait regardless.

*** Ok, the only negative is locating this amazing restaurant if your not familiar with this area. It is located in the Post District Apartment retail area that are outside (right on the side of Traeger HQ). The parking is available underground for visitors. They do have validation for 3hrs, which is a bonus because it would cost $10 every 30 mins. A good suggestion is to look at the signs before entering parking garage to be sure it’s not the entrance for residents.

Enjoy your new favorite Ramen Restaurant ☺️

The food was delicious, definitely made for flavor and quality more than quantity. They source food straight from Japan and local Utah farms. We ordered the A5 negi sushi, which had raw wagyu on it but was so soft and didn’t even taste raw. They also provided a free sushi roll with it too. We also ordered fried chicken (very tender), garlic ramen and matcha ramen. The broth was very creamy and the noodles thick. This food is high end so be prepared to spend more money.

The waiters were very attentive and helpful. Great service.

Easily the best ramen I’ve ever had.
Their message is all about farm to bowl, and they certainly deliver. All the food feels luxurious but homemade at the same time. Like someone hand pulled the noodles and freshly simmered the broth. The meat in the ramen is next level.
Also got takoyaki, best I’ve had. Lots of octopus pieces, and the bonito flakes were mild and sweet, very fresh.

The service of course was great, you can tell it’s a passionate team that takes pride in what they do. The restaurant is beautiful with touches of Japanese influence everywhere.

I’ve been to the Mensho location in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and now here in salt lake.
This place is a flavor experience worth trying. I recommend the GKO ramen. Medium heat level, not necessarily spicy, but lingering heat. Add the egg, it’s smoked and is a total flavor bomb. The meat is tender. The noodles are chewy and bouncy. The broth is almost thick enough to be a sauce. In some ways, this ramen is a diversion from the typical, but that’s a good thing. If you like rich flavors, and hearty meals, I can highly recommend this place. Not something you want to eat every day, but the flavors and textures provide an experience that you simply do not get in most restaurants. Shout out to the staff, great service.

The flavor here was absolutely incredible. Favorite of the night was definitely the garlic knockout ramen. Although the duck matcha sounded tasty, I would say the matcha flavor didn’t make the dish unique. If you’ve never tried wagyu before in a dish or sushi, I would highly recommend! Best place to introduce someone to sushi if they are hesitant.

Everything about this place was perfect. I’m so glad I picked this spot for ramen. I had never had ramen with chicken broth but I hope it’s not the last time. The flavors were so delicious and the noodles were homemade. The service was super friendly. Wish Mensho was closer to home!

The ramen was very creamy and not bad overall. Their spicy karaage fried chicken was very delicious and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. I was a little disappointed that our server didn’t mention they had fried octopus, which I would have loved to try. Overall, the food was decent with some standout items.

We ordered the Garlic Knockout, Spicy Chicken Karaage and Matcha Pudding. All of them were excellent. Garlic Knockout Ramen was really bursting with garlic flavor which I enjoyed and the broth was super thick. Matcha Pudding was so light and refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness. Would totally go back.

Out of all the items we tried, our favorite was the karaage and wagyu niku sushi. Ramen was just ok. Not a big fan, just did not like the flavor of it. The ramen soup was way too creamy, bit on the thicker side. We eventually got tired of it fast and had to cleanse our palette down with water. I do not think it’s going to be everyone’s cup of tea. I did enjoy trying it out but unfortunately will not be returning. If you are someone who likes trying new things out this is a cool place and maybe you’ll enjoy it.
