Definitely Definitely one of Joyce’s choices!! I forgot how good it is…tucked away on a small street off of rue Belleville ..often overlooked..too bad. Even i who live not far forgot. Faire le detour!!! It is really worth it!! Everything fresh and a chef so inventive!! SPLURGE and have the soufflé as a dessert…so seldom found in restaurants today.

We stayed in the 19th for three nights, and this was our first dinner out in Paris. It was SUCH a lovely experience! You can tell the food is made with love. The waiter we talked to was so friendly and authentic. We had the duck breast and scallops, and they were absolutely DELICIOUS! Please go here if you are in the area!

Great meal in the 19th! The three course meal is an amazing value.

Recommend the frogs legs no matter how you order.

We took saint jacques and escagots for entre, both are super good. Canette and possion for plats, I prefer the possion than canette. For dessert, we took feuilletté pomme vanille and mousse au chocolat, pomme feuilletté is better, mousse au chocolat is a bit heavy. Cost performance was high, service was quite good, Im definitly going back again!

I order both the €30 & €42 set lunch. The presentation and plating was exquisite, each dish thoughtfully prepared and a delight for the eyes.

The escargot and mushroom soup was delicious but the entrée not to be missed has to be the frog’s legs with garlic and parsley. The cod fish I had was fresh yet flavourful, seared to perfection.

For desserts, I had the warm fig dessert and also the mousse au chocolat praliné. Great crunch and perfect if you like it sweet. The ambience was modern and bright with a service staff who are prompt and attentive.

We had lunch here while visiting Paris. Wow. Just wow. Excellent food and service. For two of us we had three courses, drink and coffee for £110. It was unbelievable. I recommend it to anyone for any occasion.

Great restaurant! All three courses were well thought through and prepared top notch. The same accounts for the wines we had.
Waiting staff was very attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay and the atmosphere allows for a cosy evening with friends. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant a lot and I hope we will return. Keep up the good work!

We travelled 40 min by metro to get to Mensae, as we read multiple reviews and were intrigued.

I would say the quality of the food not to my taste, except the desert whom saved the whole experience.

I had the pea soup, the chicken supreme and the strawberry dessert. It’s definitely upscale and to a lot of peoples taste but not mine.

The service was cold and also not optimal, my partner keeps on saying this is the usual in Europe, but I usually would disagree but not here.

We finished our food and waited 30 min to get the waiters attention to pay the bill. Although there was not a lot of people.

Overal I would recommend it to people who want some French cuisine for a descent price.
