Where the locals eat. No fancy decor but the food and service were excellent. Sweet tea and country fried steak was amazing and fried chicken sandwich was very good. Ended up talking to the owner for most of our meal and nearly everyone that walked in the door he greeted on a first name basis.

The sink and commode has been there since building was built. The whole bathroom needs REMODELING !!!!!
I ordered turnup greens and couldn’t eat them,,, they replaced them with slaw. Food was pretty good,,,,DON’T GO TO BATHROOM

First, let me mention that me and my husband are picky eaters. We love taking pride in our food and we stumbled across this amazing place that does also! The burger was amazing! It was fresh meat and it was not over cooked! We got the onion rings and tried the chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were fresh and hand dipped! We both are truly shocked we found this place. We came to mentone for a few days but we will for sure come back just to eat at Menlo Restaurant

The Menlo Restaurant isn’t just somewhere you stop in for lunch, and order a delicious burger with a side of onion rings. It’s a place where you walk in on a community. People are talking and laughing or maybe crying together. It’s family. Literally and figuratively. It’s family run, but everyone feels like family there.
