Fair prices for the area. Nice and friendly service. A bit outdated interior that could use a good scrub but met my expectations.
I had a breakfast burritos that was average but filling. Outdoor and indoor seating. The he menu variety is good and you will likely find something you would like.

I ordered a Greek salad. It tasted very fresh, just the right portion. It was a little overdressed so you might want to request lighter dressing. It even came with a bag of chips! The server was super nice.

This is a simple small town Cafe. The service is polite and adequate. The food is delicious. Very nice place to have in town for breakfast or lunch. I have tried the tenderloin sandwich- an Iowa standard . It was crispy tender and delicious. Also the chicken tenders. I chose tater tots as my side. Fresh generous portion and also delicious.

This is a fantastic spot. Menlo Cafe truly is a hidden treasure. The prices are incredibly reasonable, the food is top-notch, and it’s served very quickly. I always order the tuna melt whenever I visit, and it’s consistently amazing.

Grabbing a quick bite I had to stop by my favorite breakfast/lunch place. I have to say it hit the spot! The chicken was juicy and just enough pesto and cheese. Let’s talk about the presentation on the caesar salad it looked so pretty I didn’t want to mess it up. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you Menlo Cafe! See you soon

I ordered the veggie omelette. It was more like an egg taco. None of the veggies were integrated into the egg, just cubed and folded between.
Menlo Cafe, please cut (smaller, lengthwise), season, and cook the vegetables in an appropriate order so they are finished cooking around the same time. Then, add 3 eggs (whisked) when they are close to being done. You cannot charge 11 dollars for what you’re serving right now.

We had a breakfast here last week. Ordered a tuna sandwich (it was fine) and an avocado toast. The avocado toast was literally just two slices of bread with avocado in between… No salt/pepper, no herds, no olive oil, no nothing. Also ordered a fresh OJ and it was heavily watered down. Do not recommend eating here.

We come here when we’re too lazy to make our own breakfast and I enjoy the walk outside. There are more trendy brunch / food options in the area, but this place is more homey. No frills, just your basic cafe options and waffles with a surprising amount of fruit on them.
