I’m a big fan of ramen… But this was mediocre at best. I ordered the spicy ramen with chicken, my husband ordered the Gyu-don, and we ordered chicken karaage as an appetizer. The karaage had no flavor and was moist on the outside (not crispy). The noodles in my ramen had an odd texture and flavor and the little bit of chicken inside was cold. My husband’s dish tasted fine but the portion was so small for the price. I normally don’t write bad reviews but the 4.5 stars this place had is what led us to try it. We would not come back.

Is the first time that I was there, and all of there was delicious, I ordered the Mino Ramen and was wonderful. To be the first time I liked so much this place. We haven’t wait to much time, no more than 10 minutes, the attencion is very fast.
Definitely I recommended this restaurant I taste the Ramen. You can choice between Spicy or no Spicy. Just because to me doesn’t like spicy food.

Loved stopping by this place! Tried the miso and the tonkotsu ramen and both were delicious, so good that we did not leave room for leftovers like we had planned lol. The gyoza was delicious too. Our waitress was super sweet and kind to our 1 year old too! Definitely recommend

Thi place is great the Ramen comes out fast and is hot. I’ve only ordered the Tonkotsu ramen several times (because that’s my favorite) but has a really good rich depth of flavor. I always add an extra egg or green onion in mine. It’s pretty affordable too compared to other ramen places nearby. I’ve ordered the Onigiri several times as well but I think they don’t put very much meat in them sadly as it’s usually mostly rice (still tastes good though).

To me this is the best Ramen in the lower Greenville area and the best value. I wish they had a location closer to north Mauldin. Traffic is an issue in the area. But worth the drive if you have a Ramen craving. Great for the days you feel bad too. Much better than chicken soup from Chick-fil-A.

Just found this spot and I have to say it is worth your time to come check it out. If you have the taste buds to appreciate more authentic asian cuisine then you will enjoy this spot. I was happy with the food and the only thing I would say is the spot is a little on the small size, but other than that you will enjoy this hidden gem!

It’s been two or so years that I’ve been here, but as a native Japanese, I must commend this Menkoi location SIGNIFICANTLY stepped up their taste. The broth had a decent scent of garlic, and the noodles have been improved at least since the past years. And a generous price cut down to 10 DOLLARS is a huge plus.
Can’t wait to try their tonkatsu and beef bowl next!

Clean and cozy amosphere. The service was great, and the staff was genuinely friendly. Pricing is fair. I had the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was very rich, and the portion was good, though I only got half of an egg. It wasn’t very spicy to me, more of a complimentary spice to the pork broth. Overall lovely experience. They have small 2-4 person tables as well as nice bench seating like you would see in a more traditional ramen shop. It is in a small plaza with decent parking. I would recommend stopping by for lunch or early dinner. The food comes out quick.

Your ramen is good but you really need to package your deliveries with the broth and noodles separate. When they sit together for an hour it shows up with no broth and terrible soggy noodles. Completely ruins the ramen for any delivery order

I love finding hidden gems and this is one of them. You walk in and feel like you are in a typical ramen shop in Japan. The food definitely matched the look and feel of the place and there were people in every section of this cozy restaurant enjoying their food or waiting for their take out. We had had the Tonkatsu, Spicy Tonkatsu, and Chicken Miso, and Beef Curry with some appetizers. We left very satisfied, bought some to take back for alter, and look forward to trying different things when we come back again.
