I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Mendocino Farms in Davis! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with friendly smiles and genuine enthusiasm — it truly set the tone for a great meal. The menu boasts fresh, farm-inspired ingredients that elevate every sandwich, salad, and bowl beyond typical fast-casual fare.

I opted for one of their signature sandwiches (highly recommend trying a seasonal special next visit!), and every bite was bursting with flavor. The produce tasted crisp and vibrant, and you can really tell that quality is a priority here. I ordered a chimichurri steak and bacon sandwich. The taste was outstanding. On a toasted sesame bun. Prices are a bit high considering the size of the sandwich, though. They have several juices that are quite tasty, too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When you get to your table you scan a QR code and enter the number on your receipt, so they know which table to bring your order to. Very nice (as long as they don’t use that to get my phone info). Parking here is terrible, too few spots for a very busy shopping center. If I can get a spot to park, I will come back

The place has a really nice atmosphere, very cozy and clean. The service was excellent, everyone was kind and attentive, and I especially want to highlight Altair who was so friendly and made the experience even better.
The food took a little while to arrive, but it was understandable since there were many orders, and it was definitely worth the wait.
I ordered the Golden State Cobb Salad and it was delicious. The portion was very generous and I even had to take some home. I also tried the Guava Lemonade, which was incredible and reminded me of the fresh juices from my home country, Brazil. The food is a bit overpriced, but I understand this is part of the company’s overall policy and not specific to this location.

It’s nice, just kind of expensive especially if you’re gonna go to a chain instead of a local business.
We got salads for BOGO during their opening and they were tasty, but I don’t like salads like that to pay $18. It was filling and balanced, but for $18 I’d want something I couldn’t make myself.
Service and seating was poor, but they had just opened and were super busy so I don’t hold it against them. Probably a decent dining experience by now. Still wouldn’t come back for that food!

Ordered through Doordash and received burnt bread. The modifications in my order were not done at all (asked for ciabatta panni pressed not sourdough bread). Additionally, the green salsa wasn’t added into the order at all so basically a burnt and sauceless sandwich.

Glad they opened this near my job. I ordered online for pickup on my lunch break, when I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile from the employee while she was taking an order mind you, love that.
The interior looked clean and organized.
My order was ready waiting for me, unlike other locations I have been to in the Sacramento area, where I have waited 15mins past pickup time.
I ordered the not so fried chicken sandwich and it smacked! Plenty of chicken, and fresh produce, it was delicious. I also ordered a lemon cheesecake cookie for dessert, and although the price was steep for the size of the cookie, it was soo good I would 100% buy it again. Slay. We attended the Soft Opening and were met with so much kindness and helpfulness! We are so happy to have a MF close by instead of going to Vacaville. Our favorites are the Caprese chicken sandwich, the Baja green goddess salad, and the seasonal peach goat cheese salad. Next time I think I’ll try the Peruvian Steak sandwich. The guava lemonade and fresh cookies never disappoint. This place is so fresh and healthy with options for everyone!!

Everyone working was very nice. They recommended it would be cheaper if I got a build your own salad instead of the Modern Caesar because of how many things I was going to remove. I ended up paying $18 for romaine, parm, dressing, crispy rice, and avocado, which I don’t think was a better deal. I waited 30+ minutes for the food because I guess they did not ask for my number to let me know when my food was ready. I honestly just want my money and time back. But my interactions with the staff were very pleasant.

We came to eat dinner at Mendocino Farms as part of a fundraiser for the Peregrine School. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience in this brand new restaurant. All three members of my family enjoyed their meals: a Happy Hippie sandwich, a grilled cheese sandwich, and the Avocado and Quinoa Superfood Ensalada. My husband, who had the salad proclaimed it to be one of the best salads he had eaten in a long time. With a perfect combination of veggies, crunchy quinoa, and protein-rich Impossible chorizo all coated in a flavorful dressing, this menu item is a winner and we will definitely be coming back for more.
The one bit of constructive feedback I have for the owners is to review their packaging practices. I felt it was a bit excessive, but this is an easily fixable problem.
Overall, I am grateful that my family has a good restaurant option for healthy vegan and vegetarian meals in Davis. Thank you for bringing Mendocino Farms into our town!
