This size of the salad container is definitely smaller. I ordered Mama Chen’s Chinese chicken salad. The description indicates that there’s cilantro, but I couldn’t see any and I tasted it only in one bite. The cold soggy kids grilled cheese sandwich was made with brioche bread and the only other option on Uber Eats menu is gluten free bread. So you have a choice between a sweet grilled cheese sandwich or a tasteless one. The restaurants that offer their food on the delivery apps, must take in consideration the fees the customers pay to have the food delivered. Forty dollars for a salad and grilled cheese sandwich is outrageous. By the way, at least offer a whole apple instead of tiny slices! Very disappointing.
The inside of the store is lovely as well with ample lighting and variation of bar-type seating areas by the windows or more private booths. You spot again the plant decoration throughout the store which makes the inside just as refreshing and inviting as the outside area.
Head straight down to cashier area, order whatever calling for you, grab the receipt from with the order number on it from the cashier and feel free to head back to your table. You can grab a cup too and self serve yourself water if needed to. Once you’re back to your table, scan the QR code on the table and enter your order #. That way, the staff know where you’re seating to bring your orders to.
I love that they have a screen with the menu displayed on an iPad-looking device which each is attached to each cash register. I can easily pick what I want from the menu there without craning my neck to look at the menu on the TV far away 🙂
We ordered the Chimichurri Steak and Bacon and Chicken Pesto Caprese sandwiches. Our orders came out quickly and were neatly and cleanly presented on a metal tray. I love the portion and the sumptuous amount of veggies in each sandwiches.
My chicken pesto Caprese sandwiches has shaved, roasted chicken breast, fresh mozzarella, marinated red peppers, basil pesto, mixed greens, balsamic glaze drizzle (600 cal) on panini-pressed clabatta! It’s juicy and flavorful with a hint of balsamic vinegar and made me want to take one bite after another.
My friend enjoy her sandwiches as well 🙂
Overall, it was a lovely experience for us. I forgot to mention that the staff was polite and courteous as well which was a plus for me.
Besides that, the portion was huge, which was great! But I also would’ve appreciated a bit of more protein. Service was super nice too. Overall; decent place!
A huge shoutout to Adam R, who made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His positive attitude really stood out and made us feel welcome from start to finish.
Great food, great service, and a great overall experience.
I recommend Mama Chens Chinese Chicken Salad, Impossible Taco Salad, and the A Sandwich Study of Heat! Perfect combination and split the sandwich!
