Amazing experience from start to finish. I walked in early to see if I can place a large pick up order to be ready by 11am that I desperately needed for JETSET Pilates instructor training in Irvine. I had tried to order the night before, but unfortunately missed the cut off time.
The manager was super sweet and immediately checked inventory to see if she can help. She quickly offered great substitutes for what was not available. We placed the order and everything was ready on time.
The manager was kind enough to also help me carry it all to my car. I wish I knew her name.
Everything was delicious. Loved the little folders that go with the sides.

Mendocino Farms Tustin never disappoints! The always consistently have fresh ingredients, creative sandwiches, and a great overall customer service. But the real standout in this review is Tony! He is hands-down the best sandwich maker there. You can taste the care and consistency in every order he makes. I always look forward to when Tony’s on the line because I know my sandwich is going to be perfect. Mendocino Farms is lucky to have him!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I placed my order at 11:30 AM. At 12:02 PM, DoorDash notified me that it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, I was told to wait another 20 minutes. I waited. After 40 additional minutes with still no food, I asked them to check my order again — only to find out that nothing had even been prepared.
It felt like my order was completely overlooked while other customers were being served. My order alone seemed to be delayed for no clear reason.
What made this even worse was that my elderly parents were waiting because of me. They ended up going hungry for over an hour due to this mismanagement.
This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Marking an order as ready when nothing has been made, then making customers wait without proper updates, is unacceptable. I expected much better service.

This is the single best Mendocino Farms I have ever been to. In 4 years of eating here the team continually workedtheir butts off to get food our quickly, efficiently, and with a friendly personality. From the team in the front and the smiles from Bella, Ivette, Gaby, Krysten and everyone else on the team. There has never been a bad interaction with them and they always do whatever they can to provide the best possible service. The kitchen has some noticeable cooks who are always there to deliver on quality! Lauro, Elisa, Selvin, and Tony have smiles that can brighten a dark room! In the night time there are 2 guys named Eduardo who are some of the fastest and most efficient I have ever seen! Then the managers there are always top notch, Ilene and Sheridan can run that show like no one else. Gotta do yourself a favor and get the Not So Fried Chicken with the BBQ sauce and add avocado (bacon too of you want to spring for the extra charge, totally worth it). The other one to order is the Turkey Focaccia, man that thing smack! Enough reading this review, go get some Mendo and introduce some HAPPY into your life!

I came into Whole Foods today to go shopping and noticed there was a Mendocino Farms in this location. It was my first time trying it. The manager Ilene was such a great help walking me through the menu. I got the Thai mango salad that she had on her name tag. It was phenomenal! I’m for sure coming back!

Mendocino Farms inside Whole Foods is a solid spot for fresh, flavorful sandwiches and salads, though it’s a slightly different experience than their standalone locations. The food is still top-notch—I had the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich, and it was delicious, with tender chicken, tangy slaw, and a perfectly toasted bun. The salads are equally fresh and satisfying, with creative ingredients and dressings that make them anything but boring. That said, being inside a grocery store means the vibe is more grab-and-go than the cozy, sit-down feel of their regular spots. It’s a great option for a quick, healthy meal while you’re shopping, but don’t expect the full Mendocino Farms experience. Still, for grocery store dining, it’s a standout!

We had 45 minutes to get to the John Wayne Airport and wanted to find a quick place to eat that wasn’t far from the airport. This was perfect. We arrived at 2:15 and ordered a soup and 1/2 sandwich as well as a full sandwich and small potato salad. The order came out within 5 minutes and it was really delicious. The tomato basil soup was very savory and not too salty. The potato salad had a nice dill flavor. The sandwiches had plenty of filling. And the bacon was cooked perfectly. We devoured our meal and left by 2:45. We made it to the airport in 15 minutes. Perfect timing. We spent $28.45 plus tax and tip. I’m sure a meal at the airport would have been much more. The place was clean even though it was crazy busy. Definitely stopping here the next time we are in town.

My first time trying the salad at this location. Ordered the Pink Lady Beets & Goat Cheese Salad and surprisingly it’s so delicious. I am not s beets person but the pink Lady beets tastes like fruit and sweet. Goad cheese is creamy. Definitely will order again next time. My other friend ordered the modern Caesar salad, the “Not So Fried” chicken sandwich, the Mendo’s original pork belly Banh Mi and the farm club. All the sandwiches taste so good and the Casear salad has this special housemade super food krunchies made it very special. Will definitely visit again soon. A must try if you are in the areA.
