First I want to say the customer service here is ALWAYS top tier. I have never had an issue and I am always treated with respect. Let me also add the place is sooo clean and there is plenty of room if you want to bring your family for great food and vibes. Starting off with the service it was excellent. I was there for a to go order so I didn’t really experience the restaurant full on but it seemed clean & well maintained. The salsa/condiments bar was solid.
I ordered 3 chicken tacos. The chicken was so ridiculously dry & chewy. Normally that lime slices would have been enough however given the fact that the chicken was drier than the Sahara I needed another bushel of limes to semi hydrate the chicken. Tortillas themselves were fine.
The chicken was flavored nicely. The restaurant could be a solid 5 had it not been for the fact that again the chicken was basically a Michelin tire cut up in pieces on some tortillas.

Mena’s Tacos on south Lee Street, is what you expect from a small family owned restaurant. They are very friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. Wether you’re grabbing some tacos for lunch or ordering dinner for the whole family, they have you covered…. 10 out of 10. I have been a Mena’s taqueria customer for 10 plus years and now I’m definitely going to continue to be a Mena’s Taco customer.

I’ve eaten here about half a dozen times. My favorite menu item is the Chicken Burrito it’s a 10 out of 10. Additionally the Barbacoa and Carnitas Tacos 10 out of 10, Chicken quesadilla 9 out of 10, floutas cup 7.5 out of 10. Suggestion: add Birria tacos and chips and salsa to the menu.
