Kiddo and I ran to town to try out Memphis Mac and it is amazing! This may just be the best BBQ in Baton Rouge and that’s saying something! The ribs were second to none. The brisket and pulled pork were on point. Hayes got the burger and I stole a bite and it was delicious! Can’t wait to come back!

Our family went there for the first time on 10/08/2021 for lunch. Me and my hubby had the Lil Mane (Ribs, Brisket, Mac-N-Cheese and Beans) and our daughter had the cheeseburger with fries. Let me tell you that the food was AMAZING and the employees were super nice. The owner even came around to make sure everyone was okay and didn’t need anything. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing!! The owner was so nice and the restaurant had such a warm hospitality to it. But, the food y’all, THE BBQ WAS SO SO TASTY!!!! I would recommend that if anyone ever has a craving for some flavorful and juicy barbecue, that you would choose this place! I got the pulled pork, the brisket, and the ribs as my three meats, and then I got mashed potatoes and green beans as my sides. It was to die for!! Again, just amazing all around!

Excellent smoke house. The pulled pork and the brisket are both very good.
The cheeseburger was huge fully dressed and delicious. Definitely in the running for best burger in BTR. The fries were crispy and not over done.
The smoked chicken was perfectly cooked, falling off the bone and not dry.
The mac and cheese is creamy and seasoned with black pepper. The baked beans were flavorful. The 2 ribs I had were tasty but a little on the dry side. All in all it was very good and I will return.

I went in on a Tuesday afternoon with my wife and picked up two plates of the daily special, brisket and smoked chicken. The flavor on the chicken was insane, and the chicken itself was falling off the bone in the best way. His brisket with the special is cooked perfectly, chopped up, and covered in their barbecue sauce. If you’re a sauce fanatic like I am, you’ll love Memphis Mac’s!
Carlos, the owner, his family and employees are super friendly, and ordering and takeout was a breeze. This is the kind of local establishment you want to help keep around for a long time!

I’m from Memphis, so I had to try it to see if it lives up to it’s namesake. It absolutely does. The pulled pork and mac n cheese are fantastic. Can’t wait to try the other dishes. So thrilled to FINALLY have great, authentic BBQ in Baton Rouge.

We drove 40 minutes to try them out. It was definitely worth the drive. They have the best baked beans I have ever had! You are also supporting local business, and supporting a black owned business. I will absolutely be coming back!
