Nice friendly staff, clean and pleasant facility, but sorry to say this is lousy Barbecue. Pulled pork has no smoke flavor and very dry. Baked Beans are bland and taste like they’re straight from a can. Sauces are good and ribs were decent but a bit dry. All of the other barbecue chains make better Barbecue. I don’t like giving only 2 stars but I just can’t give more.

Came here for the first time. The restaurant itself looks very clean and modern. Their menu has a good selection of dishes, I got the brisket and ribs combo platter with Mac n cheese and collard greens. The sauces, which were your standard sweet, hot, mustard, etc, were next to the soda fountain. The sides were about what I expected. The same as if you went to sonnys or cracker barrel. The brisket was fantastic, juicy, flavorful, and paired especially well with the sauces, which had an interesting tang and elevated the flavors. The ribs were a bit tough but weren’t bad. If we come here a second time the story might change, but it was great. This is a place I’ll look at again next time I’m near.

Crosscreek is a BBQ, Rib and Streak restaurant that is fairly new to the Nocatee area. We are always happy to try out new restaurants when the open up, especially places that sell bbq.
The venue is nice, there is a large dining area with booths and tables, a bar and outdoor seating.
The menu has salads, burgers and of course bbq.
On this trip we tried the fried green tomatoes for our appetizer. They came hot with a nice crispy batter and 2 different dipping sauces. We thought they were good and would get them again.
My wife ordered the pork sandwich on texas toast and fries. Overall she thought the sandwich was good. We both agreed the crinkle cut fries could be a little crispier for our preference, but weren’t bad.
For me, when I go to a new BBQ joint, I like to try the brisket. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich on texas toast with a side of fries.
There was a good amount of sliced brisket on the sandwich. They also give you a generous serving on fries.
Unfortunately for me, the brisket was just ok. It wasn’t dry, which is a good thing, but it also didn’t have that deep rich beefy taste that a good piece of brisket has. It also didn’t have much of a smokey taste in my opinion, or a visible smoke ring. It was also more light colored like pork , rather than a deep brown beef.
I will say, the sandwich was only $10 (lunch special) including the fries, so that’s still a good deal even though it wasn’t the best brisket.
Overall, while I wish the brisket was better, we still liked our visit to Crosscreek. We will visit again to give some of the other menu items a try. The staff was also very friendly.

The atmosphere was fun for the whole family. Very clean. Employees were courteous. The food was delicious, the turkey was moist, the brisket was tender and the pork had the best flavor. The sides could have been a bit bigger for the price we paid.

Tasty! You could see the smoke ring on the turkey, and could definitely taste it too. The corn nuggets were on point! And the sausage was smokey with just the right amount of spice!
Can’t forget the deviled eggs like your mama made em!

The Memphis Stew was great with huge chunks of meat. The greens, mashed potatoes, and deviled eggs rocked. But at a BBQ place, the best stuff shouldn’t be the sides. I would definitely try it again.

Great food! Very nice, and clean atmosphere. The staff service is wonderful. They have good corn nuggets worth going for without a meal. I had the pulled pork sandwich on the side, with sweet sauce (found on the bar) and coleslaw on a bun. Nothing was stale or old. They bring the food to you and clean up your plates afterwards. Daily specials and kids meals for those with two legged rug rats. Not far from a number of Points Vedra, south Jax and north St Augustine locations. Easy in and out onto US1. I am not much of a BBQ fan but this place makes me wanna come back for more. P.S. they have an incredible shrimp plate ($10) that looked great. Lots of shrimp here, unlike many others. Lots of sides to choose from and a Coke machine for all u can drink.

Horrible experience! They were short staffed but the service was great. The table was sticky. The server told us it’s bc the table coating was coming off but it was dirty. The bathroom floor was so sticky my sandals kept getting stuck. The food was disgusting. We spent $73 for 2 people before a tip. We ordered cheese sticks. They were ok. I had the half rack ribs and 6oz sirloin combo. I ordered a salad with ranch and greens as my side. They forgot my salad. The server offered to pack it up to go or swap it out for another side. I got mac n cheese in its place. The ribs were really fatty and they weren’t very flavorful. The steak came out rare. This picture doesn’t do it justice to how red/purple it was. It has NO seasoning. Most importantly it tasted rancid. I literally spit it out. When I told the server she commented on how she told them it looked under cooked before she brought it out. She didn’t offer any credit or to fix the steak at all. My meal was $31.99. I ate 2 rib bones, some Mac n cheese, and some of my greens. My husband got pulled pork and turkey. He said the turkey didn’t taste smoked. It tasted like thanksgiving style turkey. Neither of us were fans of the red barbeque sauce. I tried the mustard BBQ sauce. It was good. Since he only eats regular red style BBQ sauce he didn’t eat most of his meal either.
Edit: I spoke to one of the managers a few days after this experience. She offered for us to come in and get a free meal to make things right. I requested just a refund on my meal off the ticket. They ended up taking off my husbands meal too so we only were charged for our drinks, appetizer, and tip.

Today was our first time visiting here. It was a short line and we put our orders in quickly. Staff was very polite and professional. We waited less than 20mins for our food, which was awesome. Food came out and looked amazing. Now here comes the disappointing part. The ribs and brisket were tender, but had no FLAVOR. Even the sides were bland unfortunately. We basically poured sauce on everything, because we are use to having seasoned food. It was a nice experience, but I don’t think we’ll going back. Just spice it up some.
