Negatives: I wasn’t a fan of the fact that they didn’t accept credit cards, and the parking / area is a bit run down.
Overall happy they have this location here, as the one in Milton is a bit too far.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it gets very busy after 3pm, especially with takeout orders, so the staff can sometimes sound a little overwhelmed (understandably, they’re nonstop!). If you’re planning to dine in, I’d recommend going earlier in the day for a more relaxed experience.
Overall, amazing food, generous portions, and a true local gem that always hits the spot.
Smokey and flavourful. The prices are unbeatable especially in this economy! Definitley get what you’re paying for and more.
Not a lot of tables so hard to get seating when it’s busy or game day.
Old spot so a bit outdated, cleaning could be more up to par.
Otherwise, would recommend 100%!
I would come back to try a chicken sandwich and pizza.
But the real star of the show was the pork ribs. Tender, juicy, and falling off the bone, they were cooked to perfection, even as a take-out item. The sauce was a delightful blend of sweet and smoky, and every bite was pure bliss. I’ve had my fair share of ribs, and these were easily among the best.
The service was attentive and friendly, making the in-store experience very enjoyable. The
atmosphere was just perfect for a relaxed and comforting meal. Overall, I highly recommend Memphis BBQ in Vaughan for a delicious and memorable meal, especially if you’re a fan of innovative appetizers and melt-in-your-mouth ribs, and appreciate a charming, old-fashioned setting! 5 stars!
If you’re craving authentic, high-quality barbecue, Memphis BBQ in Woodbridge is definitely the place to go. We stopped by for lunch around 1:30 pm and, despite a 40-minute wait, the experience was well worth it.
We ordered the *Party Pack*, which came loaded with ribs, wings, fries, coleslaw, and cornbread—perfect for sharing. The ribs were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. As for the wings, we tried both creamy parmesan and honey garlic flavors, and while both were great, the creamy parmesan stood out as a personal favorite.
The cornbread tasted homemade—moist, slightly sweet, and incredibly satisfying. Every bite of our meal reflected attention to quality and flavor. The service was friendly and efficient, and for the portion sizes and excellent food quality, the prices were very reasonable.
The dining area is small, seating only 24 people (six tables of four), so if you’re not a fan of waiting, takeout is a great option—it moves much faster. But if you’re a BBQ lover, this spot is absolutely worth the visit. We hope to be back soon!
Walked in just after open and was told food wasn’t ready, it would be a 20 min wait – ok fine they were upfront and I was willing to wait for fresh food.
We got smoked wings, ribs, and pulled pork with cornbread and garden salad (fries would have extended the wait by an extra 25 mins lol). Both the ribs and wings were dry and the cornbread was cold. Also very stingy with the cornbread slice, such a small piece. But i guess there’s no meat juice to soak up anyway…
The pulled pork was actually good though, pretty tender and nicely sauced (it’s the only reason this is not a 1 star review tbh), but everything else was so disappointing so it’s definitely overshadowed.
Overall, spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I will not be returning.
