I love a restaurant that leaves a great taste and memory in my mouth. I had San Francisco Pesto Turkey Sandwich w/side of potato salad. My husband loved the salad and beer cheese soup, though it was warm and not hot. And those little cheesy biscuits they served with salad were delish. I will definitely be back

Nice local pub for a change of pace. We stopped for lunch and really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We had a classic Ruben and a Grilled Cheese sandwich with fries and pasta salad. Service was excellent, and for a few dollars more than the standard lunch places, a nice relaxing atmosphere.

I’ve been to Meltons for decades!! Delicious food, great servers and atmosphere! You can get together with friends and catch football games or any other sports! Love it!! Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

I’ve lived in this area for 10 years and I finally decided to come in tonight. I ate, I tipped, I left, probably won’t be back. My nachos ok, host nice when he finally saw us, manager (Allison) I’mnice but everything between was lacking. I had to ask my waitress for another to go box because she was carrying the open, empty box under her arm with the whole shirt sleeve in my box where the food was supposed to go.

I was a regular 20 years ago and it hasn’t changed much. The menu is a bit smaller and the evening patrons have a little more gray hair.
The young servers are a bit slow but polite and steady.
The menu has all good choices, depending on your slant. They have hearty sandwiches and big salads. There are a few entrees as well. The chicken tenders are memorably good.
This time, I had the chicken tarragon salad. The greens and mixins are fresh and the chicken is tender. It comes with these little cheese puffs that people rave about, but don’t work with my allergens. They have waffle fries that are always hot and crisp.
This is a solid choice as a family pub.

My guest and I arrived right at 8:00pm. The restaurant seemed to be about 30% occupied. We were seated immediately, we chose the inside rather than the outdoor patio. In less than two minutes our server Nicole came to the table. We ordered beverages. The beverages arrived quickly. We were not ready to order. Nicole gave us a few more minutes. I ordered the pasta Florentine, my guest ordered the corned beef Reuben. Our meals were delivered within ten minutes. While Nicole was very attentive before our meals arrived, she did not revisit to ensure the meals were as expected. The good news, our meals were both great.

Very nice, cozy place to sit at the bar for a beer and a sandwich. Friendly, helpful staff. Ordered the Italian Hoagie and Italian Beef sandwich. The Hoagie was fresh and quite tasty. My only complaint was the bread really didn’t have the authentic NE Hoagie crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Consider something like white Publix sub roll. The Italian Beef bread was better and it came out nice and hot, but honestly it lacked any special seasoning, kind of bland. Fries and side salad were excellent. We’ll definitely be back but will try other things on the menu.

We like this place. I will say that it used to be better before Covid. It is a staple neighborhood restaurant with beer and wine.
The chef’s salad is probably one of my favorite salads in the city. I have tried to recreate it at home so many times, but it’s just not the same.
They cut down the menu since Covid, and there’s not as many options. The sandwiches and soups are all good. I do miss some items and the overall feel of the place.
