Jefferson was our server and was so kind, gracious and helpful. The food was amazing, definitely worth the price. The filet is VERY good, shrimp is fresh and the cheese fondue top tier. The restaurant was clean, all of the employees were well groomed and friendly. The bathroom is very clean and has amenities for the women’s at least, little jars of hair ties and makeup brushes, mouth wash.
We were in town visiting and will definitely be back to this location when we come back.

I wish I could give 10 stars! Oscar, Camden, and the rest of the melting pot team made my fiancé’s birthday so memorable and amazing. We had a large party of 13 people, including two gluten free and two vegetarians, and everyone was well taken care of. From the start the manager was attentive and kind, sending the online order form early so we could make our selections in advance. This kept the actual experience moving smoothly and everything was served to a T. Our server was so patient with our questions and quick to help us with our needs. The food itself was delicious! The crowd favorite was the spinach and artichoke cheese with pretzel bites. The dark chocolate fondue was also amazing. We brought our own cake and the team held it for us early, brought it out with candles lit, supplied a cutting knife, and then even brought out their own dessert for our birthday boy. I can’t rave enough about how awesome everything was. In addition, the party next to us had someone experience a medical emergency toward the end of the evening. The melting pot staff were quick to call emergency services and clear chairs. Everyone stayed calm and organized. Lastly, the manager called me the next day to thank us for our visit and to check in following the medical event. This personal touch is really heartwarming and so rare these days. Thank you to EVERYONE at the melting pot for the amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back

We come here all the time because of the great experience. However the last time I went topped all experiences. Camden (I believe that’s how his name is spelt) was our server (again) and he and the staff took exceptional care of us. This time was special because they set up a perfect engagement for my girlfriend (now fiancé) and I. They set up flowers and roses, gave exceptional food service, and then gave us complimentary cheesecake and champagne to celebrate the occasion. They go above and beyond, and they made a special night for my fiancé and I a seamless experience. When you go to the Melting Pot, ask for Camden! Thank you to the entire team for making our Engagement so special! You’ll have a loyal customer for life!

Our waiter Tabb was super cool! He was very friendly and provided us for extra dippers when we asked. He was also great at checking in on whatever we needed and got us boxes for our left overs. He gave us a cutely decorated “Merry Christmas” plate to celebrate the holidays! We had a great time eating with him as our server 😀

I had a great experience like always, but our server, Serena, made it even better. She got our order correct even with many specializations. She stopped by at the right times for drink refills and to remove plates. She also offered to bring out more free dippers for our cheese and dessert fondue! We had plenty to take home after! Went to The Melting Pot for a friend’s birthday. I haven’t been to this chain in years, but the product is still good and the service was very attentive, even for a fairly large party. The cheese fondue offers three types of melted cheese with bread, chips and veggies as basically an appetizer. Then we moved on to broth based fondue and a grill for meats and more vegetables and lastly chocolate fondue with an array of cakes, brownies, rice crispy treats, and fruit for dessert. I also tried a Virginia based wine, which ended up being one of the best wines I have tried in Virginia and am now planning to visit their vineyard; so thanks for that lucky opportunity. 🙂 several of the other members in our party ordered cocktails and I heard a few mention they were very sweet; so I’m glad I stuck with wine. Overall, the experience was on par with what you would expect from a national brand name restaurant. I’d say the staff made the experience better. If you like fondue, this is a good option and probably one of your only options unless you count hot pot restaurants as being similar enough. They do offer personal fondue pot service at their booth tables, which I would prefer over the large party setup we had. Their menu also has a variety of options for cheese, broth/oil and chocolate fondue. Thank you for a decent meal and great service.

We attended for Father’s Day this past weekend, and it was nothing short of absolutely spectacular. We had previously gone for my boyfriend’s birthday in November- when I was 8 months pregnant. That first visit was one to remember- our server Harrison was absolutely amazing! So attentive and brought us a dessert plate at the end of our meal congratulating us on our first baby. He was someone to remember. We requested him again this go around, and I don’t regret it at all. He was so great. Remembered us perfectly, was THRILLED to see our now 6-month old, and was on top of service the entire evening. He was so incredibly attentive, caring, thoughtful, and it felt like being served dinner by a close friend. Absolutely phenomenal food, beautiful atmosphere, and best service I have ever had in my 23 years of life. Absolutely request him if you go- you will not regret it. Management- I recommend a bonus for this stellar server of yours! We will keep coming back for our family celebrations. Thank you Melting Pot Reston for being a part of our most important ones so far

It’s our second time celebrating Valentine’s Day here at Melting Pot Reston, and as always, the food was great. Our server was really nice and attentive. The only difference we noticed this time was the wait time between courses and refills—it took about 15-20 minutes, probably because the restaurant was very busy. The women’s bathroom was also a little messy.

My wife and I have been going to this location for about 10 years now and it continues to impress. Their manager, Oscar, started out as our favorite server and now he manages the whole team. The meats are always great cuts and the veggies and bread are always fresh. Under Oscar’s leadership the servers are always on point. If you’re looking for a great night out with great food and great service stop here. Ask for Kenzie B as your server. Guaranteed to be a great night. We’ll be back very soon!
