We only go to one other place for Cuban’s and I gotta say they are delicious! for us it’s a quick bite and always make fresh!! It’s a close spot and delicious food. Try their potato salad with one of those southern drinks that they sell. It’s a perfect combo. Enjoy.

We “Melt’d” when we tasted the amazing flavors that came from this place. The Cuban sandwich was by far one of the best tasting ones I’ve had though they’re made differently around Florida this version was bursting with flavors and freshness. The Big Cheddar sandwich was incredible, loaded down with meat and flavors I can’t begin to describe.
Having discovered another great sandwich shop in town has us tickled pink and proud to say that Downtown NPR has some of the best dining spots around. If you’re looking for an amazing sandwich shop stop by and give these guys a 5 Star shout out. They have limited outdoor seating but having the park nearby makes it for a great spot to picnic off your golf cart or a bench near the river.

I’m editing my original review! And I’m happy to say this! Original review: I loved this pace at first…but they keep cutting my sandwich in quarters when I have asked them not to do this. Most of the employees don’t, but whenever this person works the sandwich gets cut like it’s for children and it’s thin. Disappointing? MY UPDATED REVIEW!!! Literally perfection! Glad I gave them another chance! The sandwich was like a dream! I can’t make this at home.

Oh so good! My kids and I enjoyed a few grilled cheese sandwiches and it sure did hit the SPOT. Ingredients were fresh and grilled to perfection. Melty yummy cheesy goodness with a side of chips and a fresh icy cold cola was perfect for our day out in town. I will give this place another visit. Also there is an ice cream shop that seems to be managed by the same owner. I could be mistaken but I think the two shops are combined which is pretty cool. We got ice cream as well.
As for the atmosphere, it’s a small shop not much seating, but table benches are available outside for seating, it’s more of a takeout order out spot.
Overall I love the food and will return for some of that cheesy goodness.

A friend and I stopped in for lunch, they have a warming menu and I was looking for something light. I had a simple ham with melt’d cheese sandwich. It took care of my craving. They have a great variety of soda’s. I will be back!

Absolutely love their sandwiches!! I meant to post about them the second time I had gone there, but I always end up focusing on eating and forgetting to review. I’ve only ever gotten the Hawaiian Pua’a, and it’s not because the other sandwiches aren’t good, it’s because they honestly have the best version of this type of sandwich around here. Their’s has become my favorite, however, my friend had the Cuban and according to him it was really, REALLY good. But I do not have a picture of that one because he ate into before I could get a picture. Then my father has had the philly and I know he absolutely loves philly’s, and according to him it was quite delicious. My brother has also had one of their sandwiches, he had the 3 sisters and he said it was the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich. Next time I go, I will try to restrain myself from getting my favorite and explore the other options. Outside of this, the service has always been efficient and nice, the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed, and they have a decent variety of sodas/pop, chips and other sides that you can buy along with your sandwich. Also, I personally love how it’s connected to the ice cream shop next to it, they had become our go to anytime we are at Sim’s park: sandwich and pop, and then some ice cream to snack on as we walk.

Hidden gem of downtown NPR! I had the Angry Pig which is smoked ham, bacon, melted pepper jack, and blueberry compote. Perfection! Loved the potato salad on the side. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of the Hacienda hotel.

Delicious food and great service! This is a must visit if you’re looking for a sandwich because it’s more than just grilled cheese. It’s right next to sims park in DT NPR and you can take your food right on down to the water and eat your lunch amongst the beautiful nature and water. I love supporting small businesses especially when they are good and this is one of them!
