First visit to Birmingham. Saw this place online and had to try it. My waiter’s name was Anthony. Best service Ive ever had. Anthony was so kind and very friendly and the food was great too. We live about 3.5 hrs away and will definitely be back.

This restaurant offers a nice laid back atmosphere for the family. They have board games you can bring to your table or even play games outside while waiting for your table. The waitress was very nice. The food was pretty good also even though I believe the burgers could use a little more flavor. We didn’t care much for the mac and cheese, it was cheesy but lacking flavor. We love that its in the Avondale area where u can walk around and just enjoy.

Absolutely fantastic! Loved everything about this place. The vibe was good. The service was fast and super friendly. The food….wow. We came in from GA and it was totally worth the drive. We are planning a trip back just to eat some more of this delicious food! The mac and cheese melt, the nachos were amazing and the meat was so good on its own. I would highly recommend Melt to anyone who is looking for delicious food, a good vibe, and great service.

Truly enjoyed the overall experience of MELT! The service from the greeter to the waitress to the table staff was awesome. We had Flatbread as an appetizer, and it was delish! I actually would have been satisfied with just this as the meal. But then I would have missed out on that sandwich! Would definitely recommend

This place is okay, we got raging cajun and the ole smokey and they were good but lacked good flavor. The raging Cajun was disappointing on flavor. They were out of pulled pork as well. The mac and cheese was very cheesy but just okay, I would not get it again. The beer battered fries were okay as well. The service was really poor. My dad loved it however, and wants to return. The rest of the family does not care to return.

The atmosphere was great and as was the service for the most part. My party only got refills on drinks once, although server was very kind, respectful, and personable. The food, for all of the hype, was a little disappointing. I got the Mac Melt which is a grilled cheese sandwich with their homemade macaroni and cheese on it on Texas toast. The macaroni was a little bland really. I didn’t dislike my experience but I know there are better grilled cheese specialty restaurants and for all the hype I was a little let down.

We went there for dinner. The sandwiches are great and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant was very busy at the time we went there but the service was still pretty fast. All the dishes looked great and tasted accordingly. If you’re on the outlook for a small, uncomplicated yet very tasty dinner, melt is a place you should keep in mind. Maybe you need to allow for some waiting time, but I promise it is worth every minute. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with my visit here at Melt. I ended up sitting at the bar and had Jade as my bartender. The food was great and the drinks she made were amazing! I ended up getting a berry bourbon drink and a chicken bacon ranch sandwich with beer battered fries.
