Pool Table $1/game (machine for quarters)
Got the pierogies with the “Licking Windows” sauce (which is absolutely amazing despite the crazy name). Burgers were a good size for the price. Drinks were also priced well (~$5 ea).

We never ate here because of the smoking, but decided to try takeout. Ordered a bacon cheese burger with pickles and beer battered FF, and a dozen hot wings with ranch. It is understood that with takeout, the food will be less fresh when you get home. However, there were so many pickles piled onto the sandwich that the bun was totally soaked. The meat didn’t have much flavor, and although cooked to the requested medium-well, was dry. There was also a hair in the burger, so the rest of it went out to our chickens. The wings were okay, a tad underdone for our liking. We will stick to our usual wing spot. On top of that all, the bartender was not friendly at all. Not a word out of her. I said I was here for a to-go order, and gave my name. She comes back with the bag, rings me out, and I say thank you have a great night. Not even a peep. Giving +1 on atmosphere because of the live music. Many other places to eat with better food and great customer service.

Update I had the Italian hoagie that was toasted and totally absolutely awesome and the price is better than ANYTHING! around here. Jersey Mike’s eat your heart out
that is what I call a hamburger!!!! the way it used to be in America. big, beautiful, and tasty!! the beef is high-quality and exceptional price considering what things cost today under this pathetic Joe BIDET administration
The inside is a common neighborhood bar atmosphere and the people were friendly. This will now be my “go to” for those “what are we going to eat” moments.

Mel’s restaurant is the best place in town. As a visitor I had no idea where to go but someone in my hotel mentions mels and they were absolutely right! The food was incredible and the bartender Courtney had incredible recommendations. After suggesting the best menu options she mentioned the best drink options for my pairings and boy was she right. I’ll make sure to always visit this place when I’m driving by, make sure to ask for Courtney!

This place is a bar. Maybe even a “dive bar”. Most of the seats were at the bar. It smelled of smoke. BUT. The service was very quick and friendly. The pierogies were really good, served with paper plates. You could choose the wing sauce of your choice for them. We did beer cheese and bacon bits and it was really good. I had a burger and fries and they were both really good and the burger was huge. My husband had BLT and chips and enjoyed it. And the price was extremely reasonable. It was definitely a place that gave off a local bar vibe, but I am sure glad we went in.

The Bartenders were not friendly. I did not like my drink. Instead of offering me another kind, she slammed the ginger beer on the counter and said this is what I used. I paid for the drink and tipped but did not drink it. I will never go here again.

I traveling. We found this place highly recommended. I have to say. Best wings I have had in a long time. The pizza was awesome. I would be a regular if I lived here. But I’ll be back this way. So worth it.
