My husband and I ordered the shrimp special and the shrimp were huge and flavorful. There are plenty of nice pool tables, a large bar and the prices are some of the cheapest we hsve seen for food and drinks. Would definitely go there again.

I totally did not expect this brewery to exist on the outskirts of Richland Center. Mel’s Micro is a mix of an awesome Wisconsin town bar and they make 4 of their own beers. It is clear that has been around a while when you step in with not a ton of updates outside of the giant concrete top bar. The place is huge inside, allows friendly dogs has tons of outdoor space with volleyball, has full bar service, has fish fry and more on the menu…..and the service on my stop was absolutely fantastic. All four beers were way better than I expected here and it sounds like they will be bottling for takeout soon….they do have growlers. One negative comment on my experience….I lost on dice and my pull tabs.

I mean its Richland center. Staff is super rude and talk bad about customers. Staff also very unhygienic as well as the store. Better off going to McDonald’s and thats saying something.

Super friendly bartender, winning pull tabs paid out nicely. Very good beer, but the place could use a refresher. A divebar for sure, worth a stop? Yes!

Great Mel’s brewed IPA – bartender was attentive & engaging. Can’t beat watching an old Packer championship game as we made a pit stop on our way to Lacrosse. We will stop again (ok, this was our second visit a few years apart- lol)

Very mixed feelings on our visit. The one girl working behind the bar was extremely disorganized and honestly a terrible bartender. But the food was very good & we won $250 on the pull tabs so the visit wasn’t a failure. We would definitely try it again, hopefully they have a 2nd bartender or the one we had gets some training on how to stay focused on 1 customer at a time.

We’re from out of town. We come to Spring Green once a year, and always make it a point to get to Mel’s. This past Wednesday we went, only to find it closed, when the Internet said it was open. Please try to keep your information updated, so no one else is disappointed.

Great home-town bar just outside of Richland Center, WI on hwy 14 West. There are 4 pool tables that are kept very busy on a Friday night. Mel’s makes its own micro-brewed beers and has a Friday night fish platter of frief bluegill. They also have burgers, fries, onion rings, and other great choices..
