Everything is so good here. Typical Drive-in Food. The best Rootbeer around! You can drive up to the awning or park and sit in the back at the picnic tables, just make sure one of the servers know you are there.

Erin was my car hop. First timer, saw on news. Relied on her to give me options. Dbl cheeseburger w all fixings. Nice and juicy, although o seasoning. Still a great choice.
Small order fried mushrooms wer good, but coating was not real crisp and broke when handling. Cocktail sauce could use more heat, was a little sweet for my taste. 20 oz. Dew.
All in all a great new place to stop once in awhile.

I ordered a grilled tenderloin, side of cheese nuggets and medium root beer. The sandwich was grilled to perfection, and the cheese nuggets had a crunch like no other.
Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back. Kicks Mug n Buns ass.

I love this place. My dad always tickets for the two for one tenderloins and cheese cubes. What our whole lives he loved that place. I got to missing him really bad and had to stop and get two of The Tenderloins. The reason for my rating on the food is because the toppings on my sandwich weren’t correct but other than that it’s as good as I remembered as a kid. I miss that they don’t bring you your food on roller skates anymore but. This place will always be a comfort place for me.

We enjoyed our meals. I liked the idea that we could customize our toppings to our liking. The food was simple yet very delicious. I ordered the grilled tenderloin and liked the seasoning and overall flavor. The Jalapeño Howlers were very good. The queso added another level of spiciness to the jalapeños that I enjoyed. My wife thought her Hot Ham & Cheese sandwich and onion rings were okay, and my son liked his cheeseburger and cheddar nuggets. The waitresses were very friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Mel’s is like a underground music artist, you want everyone to know about em but at the same time you want them to yourself. Mels food is FIRE tho fr (can be a little pricey) but good enough in this economy. My girlfriend recommends the fried pickles. I also love their soda (its homemade or sum)
