A good place for a simple dinner with friends. The chicken wings and brussel sprouts were ok. The chicken pasta was tasty but very greasy. The pizza is a surprise – thick crust with lots of ingredients, which is pretty good.

We had a lovely experience here! Great and tasty selection of appetizers, pizza, and pasta. Our server was wonderful, she told us it was her first day out of training! We ordered the vodka rigatoni, pork sausage rigatoni, and pasta with red clam sauce as entrees and the fried spaghetti and meatballs as appetizers.

We got delivery, and it was very disappointing. I asked for thick crust and light cheese. If you look at the pictures, it is the thinnest mushy crust. There is a thicker layer of cheese than crust itself! The toppings were adequate quality, but I don’t think I will eat from here again. It was way too much money for pizza that is worse than Dominos or Pizza Hut.

First time dining at Melo’s Pizza & Pasta. my 7 year old orderd the parpadelle pork ragu and it was SUPER delicious. The ragu was so flavorful and rich. The pasta soaking up the sauce – he couldn’t get enough.
my husband, daughter and i split a large Melo pizza and we all really enjoyed the pizza. I really like the crust. The toppings were great and plentiful.
but all of use liked the ragu so much that we used our pizza crust to dip into our son’s ragu pasta. I wonder if we can ask for extra sauce next time? haha

This is the best pizza spot in Danville and the surrounding area! I have to come here every week for my favorite Funghi pizza. The place is cozy, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The pizza and pasta are absolutely amazing! Stephanie, Brooke, Dru, Noah, and the rest of the team are always welcoming and serve with a smile.
BTW don’t forget to test the Tiramusu, it is so delicious, I highly recommend. My usual order is mediterian salad, pungi pizza, and Toramisu. You will be addicted to it like me !

A Therapeutic Edge
Melo’s Danville is a favorite stop for superb Italian comfort food. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It can be a little loud but in a good way, Families talking and enjoying themselves.

I haven’t been to Melo’s in years. Place was packed on a random Wednesday night. Great selection of food and beer. I ordered the Chicken Parm Sandwich. Others ordered the Eggplant Parm Sandy and the Spaghettini al Pamodoro with Shrimp. Was really looking forward to it, unfortunately we all said basically the same thing…was good but not great. Basically tasted rather bland. The sauce for the Spaghettini tasted simply like tomato sauce with no spices. I could say the same for the Chicken Parm, but that had some yummy cheese…still had to dress it up with some red pepper flakes. Not saying I won’t go there again, b/c I’m sure it was just an off day and they are worth another try. On the plus side the Garlic Fries were legit.

A good Italian restaurant in Danville. Much classier inside than what it looks from outside.
Service is OK. Did is very good – in both taste, quality and quantity.
They’re bruschetta is way different from what I had seen other places. Chilli induced honey with dry fruits make it feel like a dessert than an appetizer.
The pizza is well done and as described. The parmesan is well cooked and good quantity and easily shareable.
The place can use an upgrade at least in terms of seats and booths. You may notice how rundown the seats are at places. For the prices we pay, they should be able to afford that easily.
